Gorman Family Genealogy
The Gorman genealogy documents the names and vital details of the direct ancestors and descendants of my grandfather, Leo Gorman (seen just below the house number in the image at right). It begins with Thomas Gorman, born in Fertiana Civil Parish, near the hamlet of Moycarkey, County Tipperary, Ireland. His son, my great, great grandfather Patrick Gorman, was the first to emigrate to America, settling in Brady Township, Saginaw County, Michigan around 1850. More...
Doepker Family Genealogy
The Doepker genealogy includes the names and vital details of the direct ancestors and descendants of my grandmother, Hildegarde Doepker, It begins with Heinrich Döpke, born in 1635 in Schwege, Osnabruck, Hanover (now part of Germany). His great, great, great grandson, Johann Heinrich Döpke (John Henry Doepker) was the first to emmigrate to America, setling in Jennings Township, Putnam County, Ohio, in 1841. More...

Our Family Tree
The Family Tree details the names and relationships of everyone in the extended family. It is updated periodically. To find someone, search by surname, pedigree, notes, or descendancy. Obituaries and images of graves and records are available on the Notes pages. To view them, click on the name of a person in any of the search screens. Then click the icon next to their name.
What's in the Family Tree:
1. Vital Records Data
I usually capture any and all vital records data I can find, including dates and locations of birth, death, burial, marriage, and military enlistment; obituaries; causes of death; and occupations.
2. Familial Relationships
Click on the tree icon next to any name to view that person's relationship to both their ancestors and descendents.
3. Digital Images of Historical Documents
Historical documents include the U.S. Federal and state censuses; birth, marriage and death vital records from various municipal sources; church records such as baptisms, confirmations, and interments; and military records such as enlistments and draft registration cards.
