Funeral Wednesday For Mrs. Schroeder
LEIPSIC, May 20, Elizabeth Schroeder. 77, who lived one and a half miles southwest of Leipsic. died Saturday evening in Lima St. Rita's hospital.
A daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Wortman. she was born in Putnam county on Sept. 13. 1873. She was married to Andrew Schroeder and he died in 1914.
Surviving are five children, Victor, with whom she resided: Mrs. Louis Utrup, Leipsic; Miss Ida Schroeder, Lima; Mrs. Joseph Haselman. Leipsic. and [Mrs.] John Ellerbrock of near Ottawa, There are 24 grandchildren and 27 great.grandrhildren. A brother, Joseph Wortman, lives in Leipsic.
Mrs, Schroeder was a member of St, Mary 's Catholic church and belonged to the Christian Mothers Society.
he funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday in the church, the Rey, Henry Bushkuhl officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's cemetery. The body is at the Peoples funeral home and will be taken to the home southwest of Leipsic at 4 p.rn. Monday.

Henry J Kruse Dies in Hospital
Services Today At Sts. Peter And Paul
OTAWA - Henry J. Kruse, Ottawa Route 2, retired farmer, died Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in Lima St. Rita's Hospital following a three-day illness.
Mr. Kruse was born on Nov. 28, 1886 in Glandorf to.Fred and Elizabeth Kruse. Both parents precede him in death. He spent his life in Putnam County. His wife, the former Catherine Krieger, died in 1943.
He is survived by two sons, Virgil, Ottawa; and Elmer, Toledo; and a daughter, Mrs. Richard Schroeder, Leipsic; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Also surviving are brothers Ben and Frank Kruse, Ottawa; and a sister, Mrs. August Krieger, Ottawa.
Three sisters and one brother preceded him in death. Mr. Kruse was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society.
Funeral services will be this morning at 9:30 at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, the Rev. Florian Hartke officiating. Burial Will be in the church cemetery. The body is at the Fischer and McCrate Funeral Home, where friends may call anytime this morning,
