Obituary:
Age 76, died February 5, 2006; born October 30, 1929 in Lake Odessa, Michigan. Mrs. Ulrey attended Lake Odessa High School and retired from the Lansing School District. She was a member of South Baptist Church, and volunteered at Ingham Regional Medical Center. She enjoyed reading, walking and traveling. Her greatest joy was cooking and being with her family. She was preceded in death by her brother, Lyle McLeod in 1973. Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Loyd, whom she married in 1947; daughter, Martha (Ronald) Bowers of Grand Blanc; 2 sons, Steven (Marye) of Webberville and James (Nancy) of Holt; grandchildren, Alicia (Mark) Mancini, Aaron (Lori) Ulrey, Courtney Bowers and Ron Bowers, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Gavin Mancini, and a second great-grandchild expected in July; 4 brothers, Max (June) McLeod of Grand Ledge, Ronald McLeod of Lake Odessa, Robert (Pearl) McLeod of Ionia and Dean (Gladys) McLeod of Saranac; and 1 sister, Anita Amy of Battle Creek. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 10, 10:00 a.m. at the Gorsline-Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Avenue, Lansing with Pastor David Brooks of South Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Lansing. The family will receive friends at the Chapel Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Those desiring may make contributions to South Church, 5250 Cornerstone Drive, Lansing, Ml 48917 in memory of Mrs. Ulrey.

Obituary:
Loyd Ulrey, 97 passed away peacefully while sleeping on February 15th 2022. He was primarily a truck driver beginning his career in his late teens with his father�s live stock company. He was a WWII veteran serving with the 8th army air force in England as a convoy truck leader. He finished his career with 30 yrs with Farm Bureau. He was also a member of South Baptist Church.
Loyd was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Geraldine. He is survived by his three children, Steve and Marye, Jim and Nancy, and Martha and Ron Bowers, four grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren.
He will be dearly missed by his loving family.

Obituary:
MICHEL FRANCIS "FRANK" XAVIER Of Reed City, Michigan, passed away at the age of 57. He was born in Detroit on October 15, 1959 to Gabriel and the late Margaret Michel. Frank attended St. Scholastica Grade School and Detroit Catholic Central before continuing his studies at Lawrence Technological University. In 1983, Frank married Mary (Palmer) Michel at St. Scholastica Catholic Church in Detroit, and raised a family in Reed City. Frank spent 30 years as an accomplished engineer in the automotive industry prior to retiring in 2007. An avid sportsman, Frank could usually be found enjoying one of his many hobbies, which included hunting and fishing. He was always quick to share a wealth of knowledge for the good of others. He is survived by his four children, Kristine, Margaret, Nicholas, and Maria; and one grandchild, Gabriel Xavier. Frank joins his brother, John Thomas, and leaves behind 13 other siblings, Eileen Burlingame, Gabriel Michel, Michael Michel, Mary Michel, Margaret Michel, Rita McCotter, Elizabeth Michel, Patrick Michel, Monica Beil, Theresa Michel, Daniel Michel, Catherine Michel, and Julia Michel. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the St. Patrick Catholic Church, 711 Rickett Road, Brighton, Michigan 48116, on Friday, March 24, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, contributions in honor of Frank's memory can be made to the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society via its website, http://www.nmcrs.org/.
