Obituary:
Carl L. Ellerbrock, 86, died at 8:15 p.m. Jan. 8, 2009, at his residence.
He was born April 29, 1922, in Glandorf to Bernard and Agnes Schroeder Ellerbrock, who preceded him in death. On May 28, 1949, he married Lucille Verhoff, who survives in Glandorf.
Mr. Ellerbrock was a farmer and had retired in 1984 from GTE Sylvania/Philips. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf, and its Men�s Society. He was a member of American Legion Post 63, Ottawa. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors also include four sons, Larry (Jackie) Ellerbrock, of Paulding, Kenneth (Pat) Ellerbrock, of Napoleon, Donald (Tammy) Ellerbrock, of Ottawa, and David Ellerbrock, of Glandorf; seven daughters, Donna (Larry) Showalter, of Gilboa, Linda (Jim) Langhals and Marianne (Elmer) Tobe, both of Glandorf, Margaret (Tom) Schroeder, of Reading, Mich., Elaine (Art) Hohenbrink, of Kalida, Eileen (Don) Martin, of Glandorf, and Karen (Dennis) Niese, of Rossford; 22 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Sylvester (Marie) Ellerbrock and Thomas (Norma) Ellerbrock, both of Ottawa.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Norbert Ellerbrock; and a sister, Edna Fisher-Myer.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf. Father Harold Brown will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery, with military rites by American Legion Post 63.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at Love Funeral Home, Ottawa, where a parish rosary service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation, St. John the Baptist Catholic Church or the charity of the donor�s choice.

Wedding Announcement:
Ashlee Foltz of Atlanta, Ga. and Grant Lawson of Atlanta, Ga. were married Oct. 22, 2011 at St. Peter Catholic Church by the Father John Sheridan.
Parents of the bride are Doug and Georgann Foltz of Canton. Parents of the bridegroom are Philip and Carol Lawson of Findlay, Ohio.
Kelly Schmidt was matron of honor was the honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Kacie Abate, Jessica Anderson, Liz Arkeilpane, Alyssa Chargar, Mary Pat Dvorak, Jessica DiBattista, Lauren Lawson, Jamie Merz, and Charlotte Pederzol.
Christopher Guglielmi was the best man. Ushers were John Anderson, Matt Bey, Brian Folan, Steven Foltz, Tyler Foltz, Alex Hague, Matt McNaughton, Chris Knapik, and Chris Tonkin.
A reception was held at McKinley Grand Hotel. Entertainment was provided by The Bottom Line Band.
The bride graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School High School and graduated from Ohio University in 2006. Ashlee is the VP of Partner Programs for National Collegiate Scouting Association.
The bridegroom graduated from Findlay High School High School and graduated from Ohio University in 2006. Grant is a Partner/Owner at JJ Ventures LLC.
The couple honeymooned in St. Lucia and are residing in Atlanta, Ga.
