Obituary:
OTTAWA - Marie E. Imm, 91, died at 8:45 a.m. Monday, Sept. 5, 2011 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on Dec. 13, 1919 in Leipsic to the late Phillip (Mike) and Dorothy M. (Utrup) Kelley. On June 27, 1946 she married Robert M. Imm who died on Aug. 20, 1992.
Survivors include two sons, Steven (Cindy) Imm of Marco Island, Fla. and Brian (Phyllis) Imm of Ottawa; two daughters, Judith (Ralph) Kletzien of Kent and Janice (Paul) Statler of Mechanicsburg, Pa.; eight grandchildren, Todd (Iris) Statler, Lauren Statler, Robyn (Sean) Kroeger, Peter Kletzien, William (SuzAnn) Kletzien, Travis (Lindsay) Imm, Amber Imm and Devon Imm; and six great-grandchildren, Madison and Sydney Statler, Logan and Gavin Kroeger, and Quinn and Reese Imm.
One son, Robert M. Imm, died on Aug. 26, 2005. She was also preceded in death by her two brothers, Robert B. Kelley and Richard P. Kelley.
Marie was a homemaker. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa, the Altar Rosary Society, the Catholic Ladies of Columbia and a charter member of the former Catholic Daughters of America. She was a life member of the Ottawa American Legion having served three years in the Navy during World War II. Marie enjoyed gardening, the daily crossword puzzle, the weekly domino group, her church card club along with sharing her interest and knowledge of local and family history.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 9, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Fr. Matt Jozefiak officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military rites by the Ottawa American Legion and VFW.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, at Love Funeral Home, Ottawa where there will be a scripture service at 3:30 p.m. and an Altar Rosary and CLC service at 7 p.m.
Memorials may be made to St. Rita's Hospice or to Sts. Peter and Paul School.

Obituary:
OTTAWA - Evangeline "Vangie" E. Kersh, 93, of Ottawa, died 7:55 a.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at The Meadows of Putnam Acres, Ottawa. She was born October 9, 1920 in Leipsic, to the late John and Margaret (Recker) Kuhlman. On July 31, 1939, she married Ralph Kersh. He died January 3, 2003.
Evangeline is survived by two children: David (Cheryl) Kersh and Anita Kersh both of Ottawa; 2 grandchildren: Amy (Jared) Wehri and Kathryn (Andrew) Beaston; and 5 great-grandchildren: Austin Wehri, Ashlee Wehri, Brayden Wehri, Macie Beaston and Mylie Beaston. She is preceded in death by a son: Dennis Kersh; 4 sisters: Lucille Ott, Mildred Auerbach, Sevilla Wehinger and Florence Harrington and 2 brothers: Elmer Kuhlman and Eugene Kuhlman.
Evangeline was a homemaker and one of the first telephone operators in Ottawa. She had formerly worked as a clerk at Krogers and an office assistant at Weatherseal, both in Ottawa. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa and its Altar Rosary Society and Ottawa American Legion Auxiliary. Evangeline attended Kreinbrink one room country schools well as Ottawa Public High School. She enjoyed singing, music and especially her family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 2, 2014 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa, with Fr. Matt Jozefiak officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.
