Stanley Bojarski 413 DePere St., Menasha Age 85, passed away unexpectedly at 2 p.m. Tuesday. He was born September 25, 1877 in Poland and has been a resident of Menasha for the past 65 years. He was retired from the Strange Paper Co. He was a members of the Menasha Eagles and the Polish National Alliance. Mr. Bojarski is survived by his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Barney Grishaher and Mrs. Alvin Romaek, both of Menasha; Sister Mary Richardine, LaCrosse; one son, Clarence, Menasha; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. John Catholic Church, Menasha with burial in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Laemmrich Funeral Home Menasha after 3 p.m. Thursday. Rosary will be prayed at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

MENASHA - Mrs. Stanley (Dora) Bojarski, 79, of 413 DePere St., Menasha, died Friday afternoon at Theda Clark Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born Nov. 8, 1890 in Poland, Mrs. Bojarski had lived in Menasha for 70 years. She was a member of the Rosary Society, Sacred Heart Society, Third Order of St. Francis and the Alma Mater Society, all of St. John Catholic Church, Menasha, the Gold Star Mothers and Polish National Alliance. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Olive Grishaber, Mrs. Alvin Romnek and Miss Carol Bojarski, all of Menasha; one son, Clarence, Menasha; one brother, Fred Kryszak, Eugene, Ore., four sisters, Mrs. George Rembleski and Mrs. Clarence McMullen, both of Menasha; Sister Mary Viola, Madison, and Mrs. Allen Bowers, Milwaukee, seven grand-children and four great-grand-children. Funeral services will beheld at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Laemmrich Funeral Home, Me-nasha, and at 10 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church. The Rev. Jeremiah Worman will officiate. Burial will be in St. John Ceme-tery. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Laemmrich Funeral Home, Menasha where a prayer service will be held at 8 o'clock Monday evening.

Helen J. Schoen, age 92, Seymour, died Tuesday evening, October 12, 2004. She was born February 7, 1912, in Shawano County, the daughter of the late Simon and Rose (Santoski) Franckowiak. On November 13, 1934 she eloped and married Merrill �a��Mike�a�� Schoen in Devine, Texas. He preceded her in death on November 23, 1991. They made their home in Seymour their entire married lifetime, where they ran their business, Schoen�a��s Refrigeration, for many years. She enjoyed bowling, hunting and especially trout fishing; and as the saying goes, �a��she could fish in a pail all day and be perfectly content just being able to fish�a��. She was also an avid card player and spent many hours with her family and friends enjoying her very favorite pastime. Helen was a faithful member of St. John�a��s Catholic Church, Seymour.
She is survived by her daughter, Shirley (Robert) Doepker, Appleton; her son, James (Carla) Schoen, Seymour; grandchildren: Steven (Sandy) Doepker, Appleton; Kenneth (Gail) Doepker, Winneconne; Dr. Sandra (Peter) Groenewold, Appleton; Lisa (Mark) Elsner, Seymour; John (Karen) Schoen, Seymour; nine great-grandchildren: Kristin, Stephanie, and Scott Doepker, Appleton; Dustin Doepker, Neenah; Olivia Groenewold, Appleton; and Aisling, Whittney and Luke Elsner, Seymour; and Emily Schoen, Seymour. She is further survived by her sisters, Lorraine (George) Brozozowski, West Allis; Evelyn Dittman, Milwaukee; Virginia Whittier, Milwaukee; Francis Lemke, Shawano; her sisters-in-law Toots Schoen, Seymour; Irma Schoen, Clintonville; Ruth Franckowiak, Shawano; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her three brothers and three sisters; also a great-grandson, Daniel Doepker.

Merrill W. " Mike" Schoen Seymour Age 79, loving husband, father and grandfather, died Nov. 23, 1991, after a lengthy illness. He was born Dec. 23, 1911, in Green Bay, son of Louis M. and Minnie (Laudenglaus) Schoen. On Nov. 13, 1934, he married Helen Franckowiak in Devine, Texas. They made their home in Seymour their entire married lifetime. Merrill started his career working for Bleick Creamery, then the Seymour Creamery until he started his own business, Schoen's Refrigeration in Seymour, which he and his wife operated for many years. After going into semiretirement, he worked for Lovit Butter for three years. He was a past member of the Seymour Businessmen's Association and enjoyed bowling and hunting. His greatest love was trout fishing and he also enjoyed showing his grandchildren card tricks. He was a member of the General Motors Association and a memeber of St. John's Catholic Church in Seymour. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Helen; a daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Robert Doepker, Appleton; a son and daughter-in-law, James and Carla Schoen, Pulaski; his grandchildren, Steven and Sandy Doepker, Kenneth Doepker, Sandra Doepker, Lisa and Mark Elsner and John Schoen; six great-grandchildren; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Dora and Merton Baker, Zachow, and Inez Wittig, Green Bay; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Clifford and Toots, Seymour, Harvey and lone, Appleton, and Russell and Irma, Clintonville; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Raymond, in 1991, and a great-grandson, Daniel. Funeral services will be at noon on Tuesday at St. John's Catholic Church, Seymour. FINDLAY - Robert Vincent Wortman, 87, of Findlay, OH died at 5:50 a.m. on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at St. Catherine's Care Center of Findlay.
Bob was born on December 3, 1927 in Findlay to Vincent and Marcella G. (Kaple) Wortman. He married Mary Lou Day on June 26, 1948 and she preceded him in death on August 28, 2013.
He is survived by his children, David (Debra) Wortman, Amy (Glen) Opp, John (Brenda Fox) Wortman, Jim (Cathy) Wortman, Sarah (Bryan) House and Paul (Maureen) Wortman; fourteen grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Bill Wortman; two grandchildren, Miles Ryan Wortman and Scott Andrew Wortman; three sisters, Mary Lou Iler, Betty Wortman, and Barbara Adams; and one brother, Richard Wortman.
Bob was a 1945 Findlay High School graduate where he played football and basketball.
He served his country in the U.S. Army from 1945-1947. He then attended Findlay College from 1947-1951 where he played football, basketball and baseball.
He was a catcher in the Cleveland Indians Baseball Farm System from 1950-1954 playing in Green Bay, WI, Spartanburg, SC, Cedar Rapids, IA and Reading, PA. He was voted "Rookie Most Likely to Succeed."
Bob was the owner of Wortman Insurance from 1953-1986. He had a career in the N.F.L. as an official spanning the years 1964-1992. He held the Field Judge position and was privileged to officiate at the 1972 and 1978 Super Bowls. Bob also was a Mid-Am Basketball official from 1956-1981, officiating two consecutive Final 4's in 1975 and 1976; and was a supervisor in that conference from 1981-1984. From 1984-1988 he was a Big Ten Basketball supervisor.
Bob was in the first class of inductees into the Hancock County Sports Hall of Fame and was also inducted into the Findlay College Hall of Fame in 1972. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed volunteering at the Memorial Tournament at Muirfield, OH for many years. He was also involved in the PGA West.
His memberships included: B.P.O.E. - forty-five years; Findlay Country Club- thirty-one years; was a charter member of the Optimist Club; was involved in Findlay Youth Baseball from 1948-1973 and was the first president. Bob was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church from 1927-1993 and was also a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Palm Desert, CA.
Bob was a long-time resident of Findlay, OH. He and Mary Lou resided in California for twelve years (1991-2002), and in Colorado for five years (2005-2010). For the past five years, Bob was a resident at Fox Run / St. Catherine's Nursing Homes. The family would like to thank these facilities for their loving care.
A memorial mass will be celebrated at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 617 West Main Cross Street, Findlay at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2015 with Msgr. Michael Hohenbrink, celebrant.
All family and friends are invited to a gathering at the Knights of Columbus hall immediately following the memorial mass.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Findlay Youth Baseball, P.O. Box 608, Findlay, OH 45839.

She was born in Findlay on February 19, 1929 to the late Vincent A. and Marcella G. "Sis" (Kaple) Wortman. Barb married Donald J. Adams on April 3, 1948 and he preceded her in death on February 2, 1999. Surviving are three children, Mark D. Adams, Findlay, Michael J. (Roxie) Adams, Findlay, Ann E. (Kevin) Sonnett, Findlay, seven grandchildren, Mitchell (Autumn) Adams, Jenna (TJ Gasser) Adams, Amber Fryzel, Adam (Cathy) Sonnett, Cody Sonnett, Rhiannon Pownell, RaShay Adams, nine great grandchildren, and a brother, Robert V. Wortman. Barb was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Lou Iler, Betty Wortman and a brother, Richard Wortman. She was a 1947 graduate of Findlay High School. Barb retired as a secretary for Dr. Donald Haas, and was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. Don and Barb loved to dance, play bridge and go camping. Visitation will be held at KIRKPATRICK-BEHNKE FUNERAL HOME from 5-8 PM on Tuesday, December 30, 2014. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at St. Michael Catholic Church - Downtown, with Fr. Jim Brown celebrant.
