Frank D. Doepker; age 72 of Shepherd, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Schnepp Senior Care & Rehab Center. Frank was born September 17, 1949 the son of Don and Donna (Roethlisberger) Doepker. He was a big NASCAR, Detroit Lions, and Tigers fan. He enjoyed fishing and hunting in his younger years. Frank served honorably in the United States Army. He enjoyed working on old cars as well as going to car shows. He worked as a truck driver for over 40 years. Frank is survived by 2 sons Jeffery (Alissa Shirley) Doepker of Shepherd and Jason Doepker of St. Louis, MO; 2 grandchildren Justin Doepker of Mt. Pleasant and Erica Doepker of Riverdale; mother Donna Doepker of Shepherd; sisters Vicki (Dan) Coughlin of Winn and Dee Doepker of Shepherd; and several nieces and nephews. Frank is preceded by his father Don and brother John Doepker. There will be a private family memorial service on Friday at 1 p.m. at Berry Funeral Home officiated by Jean Thrush followed by a celebration of life starting at 3 p.m. at the Shepherd VFW post 8215. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made on behalf of Frank to the Shepherd VFW post 8215.
