Obituary:
Frederick, Our strong and loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away on May 21, 2017. He was born in Lansing, MI to Joseph and Elizabeth (Kramer) Stump.
He graduated from St. Mary�s High School and was a member of St. Gerard Parish for more than 45 years. Fred proudly served in the US Army. He was employed for 31 years at Jacklin Steel and Alro Steel in Lansing, starting in sales and working his way up to general manager.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 60 years, Catherine, his parents, brother (Thomas), sister (Judy Young), and his son, Stephen.
He is survived by his children, Tom (Kathy), Tim (Cindy), Patty (Jim) McPherson, Larry (Sarah); grandchildren: Elizabeth (Kevin) Motyka, Jennifer (Chris) Pinckney, Michael, Nathan, Nicholas, Joseph and Reuben; and 6 great-grandchildren: Ava, Emma, Cole, Jackson, Aubrey and Zoey; sister, Dorothy Richards; brother, Stan; sisters-in-law, Lucille Heldemyer and Virginia Griswold and brothers-in-law, Patrick Gorman and Tom Young.
Funeral Services was held on Thursday, May 24, 2017 at St. Gerard Parish with Father John P. Klein officiating. Internment was at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. A Rosary service was held.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Gerard�s St. Vincent-DePaul Society.

Obituary:
Stump, Stephen J. Burbank, CA Formerly of Lansing, MI Age 41, Stephen was born on January 18, 1962 in Lansing and left this world too soon on March 11, 2003 after a long battle with cancer. Stephen was a much beloved son, brother, cousin, nephew, uncle, and friend to man. The power of his goodness, the warmth of his laughter, his great sense of humor, and his strong love for family and friends will always be with us--an irreplaceable legacy we will forever cherish. He was a 1980 graduate of Lansing Catholic Central High School, and a 1985 graduate of Michigan State University. He was a sound engineer for the television show "Extra". His passion was music, including performing, singing, and songwriting. He was a member of ASCAP. He enjoyed golfing and was a member of the Icebox Open, and was a M.S.U. Spartans fan. Surviving are his parents, Fred and Catherine Stump; sister, Patty (Jim) McPherson; 3 brothers, Thom. (Kathy) Stump, Tim (Cindy) Stump, and Larry (Sarah) Stump; 7 nieces and nephews, Elizabeth, Jennifer, Michael, Nathan, Nicho-las, Joseph, and Reuben; and many other family members and close friends. Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday with a 7:00 _p.m. Sunday Vigil service in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw. Funeral Liturgy is 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 17, at St. Gerard Catholic Church, 4437 W. Willow, Fr. John P. Klein presiding. Viewing will be from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Church. Rite of Committal St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ele's Place or Lansing Catholic Central Drama Club in memory of Stephen.
