Passed away Saturday, May 14, 2011 at the Hoyt Nursing Home, age 81 years. Maureen was born November 4, 1929. She married Gerald Quellet on June 18, 1955; he preceded her in death in 2010. Maureen was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, Frankenmuth. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and caring for her grandchildren.
Surviving are 2 daughters and 2 sons; Linda (Stevan) Bronner, Frankenmuth, Debra (Herschel) Bobbitt, Weatherford, TX, Thomas (Heidi) Quellet , Zealand, MI, David Quellet, Altha, FL, 8 grandchildren; Stefanie Furlo, Lindsay Bronner, Syndey and Heath Bobbitt, Ryan and Josh Quellet, Kyle and Kayla Quellet, 3 great-grandchildren; Giuliana, Eva, and Luca Furlo, 4 brothers and a sister; Robert (Cathleen) Depker, William (Patricia) Doepker, Joseph (Kathryn) and Thomas Doepker, Joann (Alex) Schafer, a sister-in-law Laura (Quellet) Maurer and many nieces and nephews.

Passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2010. Age 79 years. Gerald Lyle Quellet was born July 18, 1930 in Saginaw to Lyle and Esther (Gratopp) Quellet. They predeceased him. He married Maureen Doepker on June 18, 1955. She survives him. Mr. Quellet was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Saginaw. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He worked for Grey Iron Foundry for 44 years, retiring in 1992. Surviving besides his wife Maureen he leaves 2 sons and 2 daughters and their families; Linda (Stevan) Bronner, Debi (Herschel) Bobbit, Thomas (Heidi) Quellet, David Quellet, Eight grandchildren; Stefanie (Christopher) Furlo and Lindsay Bronner, Sydney and Heath Bobbit, Ryan and Joshua Quellet, Kyle and Kayla Quellet, 3 great grandchildren; Giuliana, Evangelina and Luca Furlo, many nieces and nephews and many other loving family members and friends. Gerald was predeceased by his brother Donald Quellet.
Funeral service will take place 11AM Thursday, March 4, 2010 at the Reitz Herzberg Funeral Home on S. Midland Rd (South M-47). Rev. Paulette Cummings will officiate with entombment to follow at Eastlawn Mausoleum. Military honors under the auspices of American legion Post 439 will be observed at the cemetery chapel. Friends and family are welcome to gather at the funeral home on Wednesday March 3rd from 2pm to 8PM. Memorial offerings may be given to St. John Lutheran Church, or the Michigan Alzheimers Association.

David G. Quellet, age 56, passed away Saturday February 11, 2023, unexpectedly and peacefully at his home. Dave was born October 13, 1966, in Saginaw, MI and lived in Blountstown, FL. Dave was the son of Gerald L. Quellet and Maureen Doepker Quellet of Frankenmuth, MI. Dave was a proud veteran and served his country in the Navy from 1986-1990 and in the Army from 1990-1997. He then went on to be an over the road truck driver, having the privilege of traveling to 48 of our 50 states. Dave was also a proud former correctional officer with the Florida Department of Corrections. Dave never met a stranger and not surprisingly his CB handle was "Talk about it". He left a mark on your heart every time he talked to you. Let�s not forget the stand-up comedian that came out daily, with a side of connoisseur for food and great recipes. He loved his family, country, guns, and old cars, and was a devout Christian and Patriot.
Dave is survived by his loving wife Nicole Summers Quellet of Port St Joe, FL; son Kyle Quellet and wife Emily of Blountstown, FL; daughter, Kayla Quellet and Fianc�e Kevin of Blountstown, FL; grandchildren who thought he hung the moon, Kyler, Kinsley, Reighlynn, Kennedy, Lyla, Aria, Aubriella, Adrien, Ashden, Abreona, and AJ; sister, Linda Quellet Bronner and Husband Steve of Frankenmuth, MI; brother Tom Quellet and wife Heidi of Holland, MI; nieces, Stephanie, Lindsay, and Sydney; nephews, Ryan and Josh; great nieces and nephews; 2 brothers-in-law, Herschel Bobbitt of Weatherford, TX and Justin Summers of Port St Joe, FL.
Dave was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Debie, and nephew Heath.
The celebration of life service was held at Scotts Ferry Landing Lodge with Leann Coulter officiating on February 19, 2023 from 2:00-4:00 PM. A fellowship with covered dishes followed.
All arrangements were under the direction of Marlon Peavy at Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown, FL. Rest in peace Dave. 850-674-2266.

Heath Landon Bobbitt, 21, of Weatherford, TX, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday October 29, 2016, at his residence in Weatherford, TX. He was born on August 25, 1995, in Granbury, TX.
Heath enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding dirt bikes, or anything motorized! He enjoyed working in the shop with his dad. He loved comedy shows and movies! His contagious laughter will always be in our hearts.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gerald and Maureen Quellet of Frankenmuth, MI, and Homer and Opal Bobbitt of Kerens, TX; cousin, Karen Ramos of Corsicana; and a special cousin that Heath loved and missed dearly, Ronda (Bates) Becker, Ennis, TX. To Heath, she was Aunt Ronda.
He is survived by his parents, Herschel and Debi (Quellet) Bobbitt of Weatherford; beloved sister, LIVING; aunt, LIVING; uncles LIVING; many dearly loved relatives and friends; LIVING; many blended family members; LIVING; and many more cousins and friends.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM on Saturday November 5, 2016, at Kerens Cemetery, in Kerens, TX, with Bro. David LeFlore officiating.
Those desiring to do so may make memorial contributions to MD Anderson Targeted Therapy Research or Alzheimer's Association.
