McCarthy Frances G [Female] b. 1916 MI
Obituary:
Frances G. Donnelly, age 91, of 640 Cherry Creek Road, Marquette, died Sunday afternoon, July 15, 2007 at the Eastwood Nursing Center in Negaunee.
Mrs. Donnelly was born on September 11, 1915 in Bruce Township, Michigan to the late Michael and Mildred (Follis) McCarthy. On July 9, 1940, she married Maurice Donnelly, Sr. at Barbeau, Michigan and together they started to raise a family. Frances worked for many years as a clerk for Northern Stationers in Marquette. She was also previously employed at J.C. Penney Company and at Montgomery Wards. Frances loved to garden and was known for her prize lilacs. She also enjoyed quilting, reading and playing cards with her brothers and sisters. She loved to bake and cook for family and neighbors. Her main love in life however, was her family and grandchildren. Frances was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church.
She is survived by five children, Maurice (Linda) Donnelly of Pinehurst, NC, Patrick Donnelly of Sheboygan, WI, Robert (Bobbi) Donnelly of Marquette, Elizabeth (David) Haywood of Norway, MI, and Michael (Kay) Donnelly of Marquette; son-in-laws, Louis Mohar of Marquette and Marvin (Myrna) Benzing of Gwinn; 10 grandchildren, Veronica Benzing, Kris (Bob) Erickson, Cathy (Tom) Peters, Marie Donnelly, Katie (Mike) Tosier, Shawn Donnelly, Chris Mohar, Ryan Donnelly, John Donnelly and Renae Donnelly; step-grandchildren, Jennifer and Kate Zabkiewicz; also 6 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, John (Verona) McCarthy of Sault Ste. Marie, MI and Joseph McCarthy of Pickford; 3 sisters, Gladys (Durwood) Carmean of St. Ignace, Irene Doepker of Carson City and Audrey Handziak of Dafter. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Donnelly, Sr. on April 7, 1981; a daughter, Rebecca Benzing of June 14, 1975 and a granddaughter, Deborah Benzing O’Neill in 2007.

Marie, MI Sisters- Rita (Clayton-D) Graham, Frances (Maurice-D) Donnelly, Roberta (Bernard-D) LaDuke and numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws.
Visitation: 1:00pm until 3:00pm and 5:00pm until 7:00pm Tuesday September 6, 2011 at Clark Bailey Newhouse Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial: 9:30am Wednesday September 7, 2011 at St. Joseph''s Catholic Church.
Final Resting Place: Donaldson Holy Family Catholic Cemetery

Robert A. Bauer
Robert was born to A. Robert Bauer, Jr., M.D. & Charmaine Studer Bauer in Columbus, OH. Moved to Mt. Pleasant, MI.
Later attended St. Paul's school in Concord, N.H. Moved to Salt Lake City, UT where he played on the hockey team & graduated from Skyline High School in 1976. Received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Utah. Attended Westminster College in Accounting. Worked for Intercontinental Hotels Group since 1998. Member of Wasatch Christian Church, where he made Jesus the Lord of his life.
Married Laurel Roach on December 4th, 1982 in Las Vegas, NV. Father to Thomas, Michelle, & Ian Bauer. Step-father to Casey (Dan) deGroof of WA & Denise (Nate) Gibbons. "Grandpa Bob" to Gwyn & Abby deGroof. Brother to John (Melodie) Bauer of CO., William Bauer, M.D. of WA, Anne (Andy) Jenkins, M.D. of AL, Charlie (Elaine) Bauer of MI, and Jim (Chija) Bauer of CA. Uncle to 5 nieces & 3 nephews. Nephew to 5 Aunts and 4 Uncles, plus lots of cousins.
Bob loved spending time with his family, sports, & history. He loved to travel, to play "Bridge", & discuss politics & the economy.
He was taken from us suddenly, was loved & will be missed more than he ever knew! May God grant us the peace & strength to live in the world without him, for it will be the hardest thing we've ever had to do. But one day, we will be with him again in Paradise! Until then, heaven is a better place!
He was preceded in death by grandparents A. Robert Bauer, Sr., M.D. and Jessie Monie Bauer; and in-laws Michael & Virginia Roach. A wake service will be held on Friday, January 30th from 6-8 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 S. 900 E., SLC. A graveside prayer will be held on Saturday, January 31st at 2 PM at Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 E. 4580 South, SLC.
