GLANDORF - Edmund W. Schroeder, 82, of Glandorf, died Saturday, August 28, 2004 at 5: 10 p.m. at his residence. Mr. Schroeder was born January 15, 1922 in Glandorf to Clarence and Clara (Verhoff) Schroeder. They are deceased. On June 6, 1950 he married Dolores P. Burgei, who survives in Glandorf. Also surviving are 3 sons: Gerald (Betty) Schroeder, Virgil (Pat) Schroeder, and Norman (Kelly) Schroeder all of Glandorf, 6 daughters: Pat (Gary) Gerdeman, Phyllis (Brian) Imm, and Dorothy (Joe) Karl III all of Glandorf, Janet (Pat) McFarland of Ottawa, Karen (Virgil) Calvelage of Columbus Grove, and Margie (Larry) Coulon of Napoleon; 20 grandchildren, and a sister, Norma Erhart of Kalida. He was preceded in death by a brother, Rudy Schroeder, and a grandson, Dustin Ward. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 1, 2004 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf with Fr. Harold Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa. A service by the Ottawa Eagles will be 7;30 p.m. Monday and a parish rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday both at the funeral home. RUDOLPH O. SCHROEDER
GLANDORF --- A funeral Mass for Rudolph O. Schroeder, 71, of Glandorf, will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf, the Rev. Harold Brown officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at Love Funeral Home, Ottawa. A VFW service will be held at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home, followed by a Scripture service at p.m. The rosary will he said :ft 8 p.m., and the Glandorf Volunteer Fire Depart merit will hold a service at 8.30 p m also at the funeral home
Mr. Schroeder died at 11:07 p.m. Sunday. Sept.. 14, 1997 at Putnam County Ambulatory Care Center, Ottawa, He was born Feb. 22. 1926 in Glandorf to Clarence and Clara Verholf Schroeder. He married Lucille Wehri on May 2, 1950, and she survives. Also surviving are six sons, Richard, Joseph. David, Steven and Roger, all of Glandorf; Allen of Kalida ; one daughter. Rose Ann Stone, New Riegel; 19 grandchil-dren, one brother. Edmund of Glandorf, and one .sister, Norma Erhart, Kalida One "grandchild -preceded-him in death Mr Schroeder was a farmer He was a world War 11 Army veter-an. He was a member of Ottawa Eagles, American Legion and VFW posts. In Glandorf, he was a mem-ber of ..St. John the _Baptist Catho-lic Church, its Men's. Society, the Lions Club, the Rod and Gun Club, and the Volunteer Fire Depart-ment: He was a former assistant fire chief.

LAWRENCE UNTERBRINK, GLANDORF
Lawrence J. Unterbrink, 72, of Route 4, Ottawa, died at 1:30 a.m. Saturday in his residence.
A farner, Mr. Unterbrink was a former Greensburg Twp. employee. He was a member of St John's Catholic Church, its Holy Name Society and the Ottawa Eagles Lodge. Born Nov. 9, 1897 in Putam County, he was the son of William and Magdalena (Kracht) Unterbrink. He married Martha Schroeder in 1921 and she survives.
Other survivors include a son, James, Route 4, Ottawa, and doughters, Mrs. Norbert (AIicia) Heitmeyer, Ft. Jennings; and Mrs. Leo (Carol) Brinkman and Mrs. William (Esther) Recker, both of Glandort.
Also surviving are sisters Mrs. Sam (Marcella) Maag, Route 3, Ottawa, and Mrs. Alvin (Idella) Kleman, Ottawa. There are 22 grandchildren. Two brothers are deceased.
Services are at 10:30 a.m. Monday in St. John's Church, the Rev. Raymond Seifert officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The McCrate Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

ELLERBROCK ROBERT F.
Robert F. Ellerbrock, age 80 of Erie, MI, died Saturday. November 24, 2001 in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center.
Born May 30, 1921, to Felix and Ida Ellerbrock. He served in the U.S. Army from 1944-1946, and received several medals. Robert was a maintenance man for many years, retiring from Mason Consolidated Schools. He was a life member of VFW Post #3265, the American Legion and the Eagles.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 55 years, Virginia; son, Kenneth (Carol) Ellerbrock; granddaughter, Jennifer Ellerbrock; grandson, Bryan (Jamie) Ellerbrock; brother, Paul Ellerbrock and sister, Pat Meyer.
The family will receive visitors in the David R. Jasin Funeral Home, 5300 N. Summit St. (419-726-1583) on Wednesday, November 28, 2001 from 4-8 p.m. and Thursday, November 29, 2001 from 2-8 p.m. There will be a VFW service on Thursday at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home Friday, November 30, 2001 at 10 am. Interment in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

Obituary:
Paul A. Ellerbrock, 93, passed away February 15, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio after a brief illness. Paul was born on June 28, 1923, to Felix and Ida (Schuler) Ellerbrock in Kalida, Ohio.
Paul was a proud Navy veteran, serving in WWII as an anti-aircraft gunner, protecting merchant marine ships in both South Pacific and Alaskan waters.
Upon discharge Paul enrolled in electronics school in Chicago, IL. After graduation he came to Toledo where he met and married Martha Jasinkowski. They were married for over 61 years.
Paul was a successful businessman who, with his partner, started a TV rental service in area hospitals. He retired at age 53 to pursue his true passion, fishing. "The worst day fishing is better than the best day working" was his favorite saying.
Paul was a wonderful woodworker, handyman, fixing and repairing many, many items over the years. He was a great believer in making things with his own hands.
Paul was an active member of the VFW, American Legion and the 40/8. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, dearly loved by his family. Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Martha and his granddaughter, Meredith Treby.
He is survived by his loving children, Linda (Bill) Treby, Denise Bamberg, Tim (Stella) Ellerbrock; grandchildren, Will Treby, Taylor (Mike) Rankin, Allyson (Frank) Baugh, Christopher Bamberg; great-grandchildren, Garrett Henry, Lyla Rankin. Paul was a fun-loving, caring soul and he will be missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m., Sunday, February 19, 2017, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman), Temperance, MI. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Regina Coeli Catholic Church, 530 Regina Parkway, Toledo, OH, where he will lie in state after 9 a.m. Fr. John Miller, officiating. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.

Patricia "Pat" B. "Tootie" Meyer, 88, passed away Monday, January 12, 2015 at The Toledo Hospital. She was born May 17, 1926 to Felix and Ida Ellerbrock in Kalida, Ohio. She was an active member of St. Agnes Church, where she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society, monitored recesses and volunteered frequently for church events. She also was a volunteer at St. Vincent�s Hospital.
Tootie is survived by her daughter, Shirley Sendelbach of Columbus; son, Dennis (Jean) Meyer of Sylvania; grandchildren, Mike and Daniel Sendelbach, Laura (Nick) Garza, Lindsey Meyer; great grandchildren, Josh, Nathan, Kyle, Cecelia, Declan Sendelbach and brother, Paul Ellerbrock. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Lawrence Meyer and brother, Robert Ellerbrock.
Special thanks to Senior Care Management and West Park Place for the loving care and assistance.
Friends are invited to visit from 3:00pm to 8:00pm Thursday at Ansberg-West Funeral Home 3000 Sylvania Avenue where a Scripture Service will be held at (still awaiting time confirmation from Christ the King). Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:00am Friday at Christ the King Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

He was the son of Andrew H. and Mary 'Mayme' (Fuerst) Ellerbrock. On Apr 23, 1949, he married Mary Ann Erhart, who preceded him in death. On May 25, 2007, he married Mary Stechschulte-Kreinbrink, who survives in Leipsic.
Also surviving are three sons: Timothy, San Antonio, TX, Roger (Marilyn), Glandorf, and Greg (Patty) Ellerbrock, St. Petersburg, FL; a daughter, Barbara (Don) Levering, New Braunfels, TX; and seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII, he worked at the U.S. Post Office. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic, the Leipsic VFW, Ottawa Knights of Columbus and the Senior Citizens Card Club.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic, with Rev. William Pifher officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military rites by the Leipsic VFW.
