Rudolph Rampe Age 95, of Owosso, passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2004, at the Shiawassee County Medical Care Facility (Plesant View) in Corunna.
Mr. Rampe had worked at Bendix, Redmond's and retired from General Motors in 1971, after 30 years of service.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon Tuesday, December 281 2004, at St. Paul Catholic Church, with Fr. Robert D. Kolenski officiating. Burial will take place in St. Paul Cemetery.Visitation at Nelson-House Funeral Home will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m.
Rudolph was born in Kalida, Ohio, March 26, 1909, the son of Herbert W. and Mary A. (Seifert) Rampe. On September 28, 1935, he and Loretta C. Buckley were married at St. Paul Catholic Church in Owosso. Mr. Rampe was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include: his son, Donald (Kathryn) Rampe of Holt; four grandchildren, Michael (Lilia) Rampe of East Lansing, Benjamin (Emily) Rampe of Georgetown, Kentucky, Timothy (Theresa Allen) Rampe of Chicago and Anne Marie (Ken) Root of Howell; three great-grandchildren, Michael Jr, Sophia and Nicholas Rampe.
He was predeceased by his wife, Loretta in 1997; and five sisters. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Catholic Church or the charity of the donor's choice.

Mildred A. Dwyer (Rampe)
Age 83, of West M 21, Owosso Township, Shiawassee County, passed away Feb. 6, 1994, at Me-morial Healthcare Center, Owosso.
She was born in Kalida, Ohio, on Dec. 8, 1910, the daughter Of Hubert and Mary (Seifert) Rampe. Her family moved from Kalida, Ohio in 1911 and settled on Simpson Road west of Owosso. She attended the Union School on Ruess Road and St. Paul's Catholic School where she graduated in 1928 with a commercial diploma. On May 31, 1933, she married Thomas Dwyer in St. Paul's Catholic Church and resided thereafter on the family farm of 1869.
She was employed with Universal Electric (MagneTek) from 1953 and retired 1974.
The couple was blessed with six children: Rita Marie (Edmund) Scherer, Betty Jean Dwyer, Cathryn "Diane" (Larry) Riddle, Thomas Dwyer III (infant son-deceased), Judith Rae (Leo) Unterbrink all of Owosso, and Marietta (Thomas) Ackley of Spring Lake, Mich. Thirteen grandchildren: Ray Scherer of Bloomington, Minn., David Scherer of Laingsburg. Janet (Scherer) Jenkins of San Mateo, Calif., Rebecca (Riddle) Pariseau of Sterling Hts., Laura (Riddle) Ellenberg of Corunna, Coleen (Riddle) Skomicka of Ortonville, Larry Riddle Jr. of Rockford, Thomas Riddle of Pinconning, Michael, Amy, Matthew Unterbrink of Owosso, Lisa and Julie Ackley of Spring Lake. Nine great-grandchildren: Aaron and Allison Scherer of Bloomington, Minn., Kathryn, Kelly and Kevin Scherer of Laingsburg, Jonelle Pariseau of Sterling Hts., Devitt and Maxwell Ellenberg of Comma, Ashlyn Skomicka of Ortonville. Also survived by one brother, Rudolph (Loretta) Rampe of Owosso; one sister, Coletta (Rampe) Mahoney of Lansing. She was also survived by nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Thomas Dwyer on Oct. 24, 1969, and infant son, Thomas Dwyer III. Three sisters, Jeanette Kondel, Irene Dwyer and Marie Rampe also predeceased Mildred.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Owosso on Wednesday, Feb. 9, 1994, at 10 o'clock. The Rev. Father Ruben Kolenski will officiate with burial in St. Paul's Catholic Cemetery, Owosso. Relatives and friends may call at the Nelson-House Funeral Homes. Owosso today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. A Rosary will be prayed at the funeral home Tuesday, 7 p.m.
Mrs. Dwyer was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and St. Paul's Altar Society.

Jeanette M. Kondel
Age 73, of Gaines, died Sunday, March 3, 1991, in Arcadia, Fla.
Services will be held Friday, March 8, 10 a.m., from the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Gaines. Burial will be in St. Paul's Catholic Cemetery, Owosso.
Friends may call at the Bellows-Rinker Funeral Home, Durand, Wednesday 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 so 9 p.m. A Scrip-tural rosary will be held 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Kondel was born in Owosso, March 28, 1917, the daughter of Hubert and Mary (Seifert) Rampe, She had resided the past 44 years in Gaines. On Aug. 9, 1941, she and Frank Kondel were married in Owosso. Mrs. Kondel was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Gaines.
Survivors include: her husband, Frank Kondel; a daughter, Jean Buttler and husband Richard; seven sons, Frank and his wife Jackie, Robert and his wife Luanne, Ray-mond and his wife Toni, Larry and Michael, all of Gaines, and, Kenneth and Paul of Arcadia, Fla.; 12 grand-children; one great-grandchild; two sisters; a brother and several other relatives.
Mrs. Kondel was predeceased by her parents, two grandchildren and two sisters.

William G. � Bill� Meyers, 76 of Van Wert, died shortly after arrival at the Van Wert County Hospital at 5:21 p.m., Wednesday, April 18, 2018.
He was born on May 6, 1941 in Delphos, Ohio, the son of the late Melvin J. and Helen M. (Kerman) Meyers. On August 27, 1966, he married Diane K. (Doepker), who survives at the residence.
William retried from Telefex in Van Wert (1966-2002) and then drove tour bus for Buckeye Charter for 10 years. He was a member of the St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. He was 1959 graduate of St. Johns High School, Delphos and a veteran of the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany.
Family member include his wife, Diane; two sons, Troy G. Meyers (Tyanne Fonseca) of Gulf Port, MS and Jeffrey S. (Tracy) Meyers of Van Wert; daughter, Michelle L. (Shawn) Gorman of Van Wert; ten grandchildren, Amanda (Allen) Knapp, Lauren Meyers, & Dottie Fonseca, Kaylee Meyers, Whitney Meyers, & Cassidy Meyers, Courtney (Shane) Williams, Carter Gorman, Olivia Gorman, & Cole Gorman; one great grandson, Hunter; two brothers, Daniel Meyers of Fort Jennings, and Tom Meyers (Deb) Kindler of Roanoke, Indiana; three sisters, Carole Herman of Columbus, Mary (Richard) Banta of Cocoa Beach, Florida, and Margee (Tony) Mesker of Delphos; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Meyers and James Meyers; and a sister, Janice Richardson.
Mass of Christian burial will April 23, 10:30 a.m. at the St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, with Father Keith Stripe officiating. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, April 22, 1-5 p.m. and at Monday April 23, 9:30 - 10:15 a.m. at Cowan & Son Funeral Home. Burial will be held at a later date. Military honors will be by the American Legion Post #178 and V.F.W. Post #5803, both of Van Wert.
Memorial contribution are the Donor�s Choice.

Steven Louis Neal, age 68, of Adrian, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2014, at Lynwood Manor.
He was born December 15, 1945, in Adrian, to Harry and Mary (Noling) Neal. He was married to Sharon McCrate. He enjoyed being outdoors, walking, metal detecting, fishing, archery and reading. He loved taking rides but hated stop lights and he loved being with his family.
In addition to his wife of 39 years, he is survived by his children, Daniel (Anne) Neal of Jerome, Linda Perez of Adrian, and Matthew Neal of Adrian; one sister, Chris (George) Huxley of South Lyons, MI; six grandchildren, Melinda and Dylan (Reba) Baughey, Hunter Neal, Hailey, Lauren and Alex Perez; and two great-grandchildren, Carter Courington and Jase Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents and aunts and uncles.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial services for Steven will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian with Reverend Anthony Strouse officiating. Burial of cremains will be in Oakwood Cemetery with full military rites conducted by the V.F.W. Annis-Fint Post #1584 and the American Legion Post #97 of Adrian. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. at Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian.
