Obituary:
Oblander, Fred W., Saginaw, Michigan. Beloved father andd grandfather passed away at his home on Saturday, March 2. 2002. Age 76 years. Fred was born August 7, 1925 in Blumfield Twp., Mich. He married Betty J. Schaumann on February 1, 1947, having celebrated 36 years of marriage. Fred graduated from Arthur Hill High School and proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. during World War II. Prior to his retirement in 1983 he was employed as a salesman for the Western Steel Co. Fred was a member of the Fordney Club, having served as President in 1981-1982. His wife predeceased him in 1983 as well as two brothers and two sisters. To cherish his memory he leaves seven daughters and their spouses, Sandra (James) Torka, Bay City, Mich.; Sharon (Michael) Sivak, Saginaw, Mich.; Susan Oblander. Freeland, Mich.: Shirley (Ric) Lawler, Saginaw, Mich.: Shelley (Keith) Strong, Merrill, Mich.; Stacy (Brian) Harden. Saginaw, Mich.: Sally (Michael) Plesko. Sand Lake, Mich.: 11 grandchildren. Kerrie Ann Stenzel, Clifton Smith Jr., Brice Smith, Jaime Torka, Alicia Strzynski, Kelsey and Lindsey Lawler, Marie Nickolis and Betsy Strong and Kristin Harden; also six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral and committal services will take place 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 6. 2002 at Wakeman Funeral Home, Inc., 1218 N. Michigan Ave. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the Wakeman Funeral Home, Inc. on Tuesday, March 5, 2002 from 12:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., then on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of services. The family would like to thank VNA/Hospice. Partners in Caring for their help in carrying out Fred's wishes. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the American Cancer Society.

Wife of Frank Ellerbrok Expires From Paralysis Friday Morning
Kalida, June 25 - Mrs. Anna Ellerhrock, 72, wife of Frank Ellerhrock. died from paralysis at 10:30 o'clock Friday morning at her home In KaIlda. She had been III for nine weeks.
Mrs. Ellerbrock was born Oct, 12, 1870 near Glandorf. Her parents were Frank and Anna Rampe. She llved all her life In Putnam County.
Besides her husband, she in survived by two daughters. three sons, two brothers. one sister. 28 grandchildren and one great grandchiId.
The children are Mrs. Ben Leopold, Defiance., Mrs. AIphonse Kehres, Risingsun, August EIlerhrock, Ottawa; Felix Ellerbrock, Toledo; and Andrew Ellerbrock, Kalida.
The brothers and sister are Frank Rampe, Lorain: Hubert Rampe, Owosso, Mich. and Mrs. William Smith. Norwalk.
Funeral services will be held At 9 o'clock (slow time) Monday morning at St Michaels Catholic Church, Kalida. Rev MM Muehe will officiate. Burial will be in St Michaels Cemetery.
The body will be taken Saturday morning to the residence from the Hartman Funeral Home, Columbus Grove,

Ka!Ida Resident Expires Suddenly
Frank Ellerbrock Services Thursday
KALIDA, Sept. 20--Frank J. Ellerbrock, 77, of Kalida, died suddenly at 2:15 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Alphonse Kehres, RisIngsun. He had suffered a slight stroke on Monday, but the previous week was reported to have been in good health during a visit to relatives in Ottawa.
He was born July 5, 1872, at Glandorf, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ellerbrock. Both his parents and his wife are deceased. There are five children: Mrs. Ben Leopold, Defiance: Mrs. Kehres, at whose home he died, Risingsun; August E., Ottawa; Felix, Toledo, and Andrew, Kalida. There are 29 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters and two brothers. They are, Mrs. Fred Verhoff, Continental; Mrs. William Duling, Lima; Mrs. Frank Birkemeier, Glandorf; Joseph E., Ft. Jennings; William, Spencerville. Two brothers and one sister are deceased. The funeral will be held at St. Michael's Catholic church, at Kalida, with the Rev. Erasmus Gengler officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Other arrangements are incomplete. The body will remain at the Fischer funeral home, Ottawa, until time for services.

MRS. CLARA SMITH
MONROEVILLE - Mrs. Clara K. Smith, 82, of 44 Brown St., died early this morning at Fisher-Titus Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.
She has lived in the area for 45 years, corning from Kalida, Ohio. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a 40 year member of the Altar and Rosary Society of the church.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Adolph (Louise) Stieber of Norwalk, Mrs. Harold (Gertrude) Reer and Mrs. Clifford (Dorothy) Hauler, both of Monroeville; three sons, Rudy and Walter, of Norwalk, and Edward of Milan; 26 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William, in 1957.
Friends may call at the Drake Funeral Home Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m and Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10 a.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church. Fr. Harvey Keller will officiate.
Burial will be in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery. Rosary will be recited by the Altar Society before the 8 am mass at the church Sunday.
