KING, Michael Joseph age 80, Passed away September 22nd, 2025
Loving father of Antonia "Toni" (Mike) Conn and Darin (Stephanie) King. Proud grandfather of Jasper and Dax. Dearest brother of Sharon King. Dear son of the late Antonia and late Joseph King.
Michael was a devoted single father who always had his kids� six. He was a talented musician and a proud member of The Kingtones, a legendary band inducted into the Michigan Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Professionally, Michael was equally accomplished, serving as the Lead Survivability Engineer for the Bradley Project Manager. His expertise, dedication, and work ethic left a lasting impact over his 31-year career. So valued was he that his retirement required a two-year notice.
A celebration of Michael's life will take place on Sunday, October 5th from 1-4pm at the Hickory Grove Pavilion in Riverbends Park, Shelby Township, MI, 48316. Come and go as you please. In lieu of flowers, bring cards.

Obituary:
Irving Lyle Hale, age 82, of Elwell passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his beloved family on Sunday, July 14, 2024. He was born on July 21, 1941, in Gratiot County, the son of Harold and Cora (Fockler) Hale. He was a 1959 graduate of St. Louis High School and served his country in the National Guard.
He married the love of his life, Mary Ann Burlingame, on June 16, 1961, in Breckenridge, a blessed union of 63 years. Together they raised their family on a farm in St. Louis, before moving to Elwell. Together they enjoyed spending time at their cabin in Manistee, camping, snowmobiling and fishing on Lake Michigan. Spending time with his family was his greatest joy.
Irving worked with his family farming and at their family-owned business, Central Farm Equipment in Breckenridge. He continued to farm throughout his lifetime. As a hard-working man he bought a tree spade and began planting trees and would also plow snow for K-Mart in Alma, which lead to him taking on about 40 clients.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and playing Euchre with family and friends. Irving was a member of Community Baptist Church of Alma. Irving enjoyed collecting and restoring antique tractors. He was an avid Tigers fan and dog lover, especially his goldendoodle, Oscar.
Irving is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Hale; his children, Michael (Brenda) Hale, Michelle (Andy) Brown, Melinda Hale, Matthew Hale, Mark (Marilyn) Hale; grandchildren, Martyn Hale, Malcolm (Kennedy Hadley) Edwards, Adam (Patrick Lavis) Brown, John (Danielle) Brooks, Michael Hale, Rachelle (Timothy Ng) Hale, Kenneth Hale, Gabriel Hale, Nathan Hale, Megan (Scott) Stewart, Kelsey (Joe) Backus; great-grandchildren, Eliza and Colt Stewart; and his siblings, Jim (Nola) Hale and Lois Osterhout.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Donald Hale.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 11 am at the Community Baptist Church, Alma with Pastor Randy Brandon officiating. Interment will be held in Pine Grove Cemetery. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to The Care Team Hospice.
