ANDERSON, EVA, age 89, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021, at Rosebush Manor.
A Private Family Graveside Memorial Service for Eva will take place at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Rosebush Manor or Heartland Hospice. Envelopes are available at Clark Family Funeral Chapel.
Eva was born in Crystal, Michigan on November 18, 1931, the daughter of Elmer and Sylvia (St. Peters) Curtis. She married Karl Anderson on March 24, 1976. Karl preceded her in death on May 30, 2018. Eva worked for CMU Food Service for several years. She enjoyed dancing, playing cards, bowling, camping, and sewing. Eva loved to bake and will always be remembered for the best cookies and banana bread. She was a member of Open Door Baptist Church in Midland.
Eva is survived by her children: Linda Slade of Livonia, Debbie (Dave) McClintic of Bel Air, MD, Sandy Doepker of Shepherd, Connie (Robert) Kiwala of Grand Ledge, Edward Carey of Mt. Pleasant; stepdaughter Pam (Stan) Wager of Ravenna; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild on the way.
Eva was preceded in death by her parents; former husband Richard Carey; 4 brothers; 2 sisters; and son-in-laws Jim Slade and Tom Godbold.

Richard Lewis Carey, 82 of Garden City, SC., formerly of Mt. Pleasant passed away on October 7, 2010 at his home.
Richard was born on November 8, 1927 in Mt. Pleasant, the son of Walter and Edith (Gepford) Carey. Richard worked for Dow Chemical, and served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and playing cards.
Richard is survived by his wife Bonnie of 35 years, children, Linda Slade of Livonia, Debbie (Dave) McClintic of Bel Air, MD. Sandy Doepker of Shepherd, Connie (Bob) Kiwala of Grand Ledge and Ed Carey of Traverse City, 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He is also survived by step children, Jim (Sandy) Wentworth of Mt. Pleasant, Rick (Ann) Wentworth of Broomfield, CT., Diane (Richard) Andre of Garden City, SC., Dave (Mary Beth) Wentworth of Myrtle Beach, SC., Vicki Wentworth of Mt. Pleasant, Jeff Wentworth of Mt. Pleasant, Joe (Becky) Wentworth of Golden, CO., and 7 step grandchildren and 8 step great grandchildren. Also a sister Ruth Vining of Perrinton.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, sister and brother in law, Madeline and Earl Smally, brother in law, Des Vining and son in law Jim Slade.
Cremation has taken place and a private memorial will be held at a later date.

74, passed away on November 5, 2013. He was an insurance adjuster for Pafco Insurance for 22 years and later for Hartford Insurance for 4 1/2 years, before retiring in 2007. Larry was a member of Moose Lodge #2138, Fraternal Order of Eagles in Beech Grove, VFW and the American Legion. Larry's passion was being a musician, especially playing the steel guitar and was an avid Colts fan. Larry is survived by his daughters, Terry Jo Johnson, Jeannie Shreve, Joyce Ross, Judy Waddell and Tamara Harrell; sons, David and Daniel Harrell; 16 grandchildren and a great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his wife Joyce L. (Schneider) Harrell. Visitation will be on Sunday, November 10 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary. Funeral Services will be on Monday, November 11 at 11:00 am in the Mortuary, with visitation one hour prior to services.
