Obituary:
Delores L. Korn of Appleton, WI, age 80 died on Thursday, December 23, 1999 in Appleton, WI. Delores was born on April 20, 1919 in Kiel, WI to the late Edward and Clara (Wessel) Heckmann. She married Ralph Korn on June 8, 1944 in Kiel, WI; he preceded her in death on January 25, 1997. Delores was a homemaker. Survivors include her daughters Dorothea Korn, Chicago, IL; Elizabeth Korn, Atlanta, GA; and Mary Korn, Kensington, CA; her sister Rogene Brinkman, Appleton, WI; two granddaughters, Anne Ruppell, Atlanta, GA; and Carolyn Wegner, Kensington, CA; and a son-in-law, Mark Wegner, Kensington, CA. She was preceded in death by a brother Elwyn Heckmann. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, December 26, 1999 at the Wickman Funeral Home Appleton with Rev. Lonkuether officiating. Interment will be in Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, Louis Corners, WI. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Parkinsons Disease Foundation.
