Steven M. Pletz, age 54, of Monroe, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022.
Steve was born February 7, 1967 in Monroe, he was the son of Donald G. and Karen A. (Navarre) Pletz.
He was a 1985 graduate of Jefferson High School.
Steve enjoyed cooking, deer hunting, fishing and being on the computer. He favorite thing was spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his two daughters, Stephanie R. Pletz and Samantha M. (Joshua) Sharp both of Monroe; his mother, Karen A. Pletz of Monroe, two grandchildren, Viviana Pletz and Oliver Sharp; four siblings, Brian Pletz, Dan (Michelle) Pletz and Christopher (Kim Rodd) Pletz all of Monroe and Amanda (Jason) Pedersen of Arden NC.
He is preceded in death by his father, and grandparents, Marvin and Violet Navarre and Robert and Betty Pletz.
In accordance with Steve's wished cremation has taken place and a celebration of life was held for his family.

Paul Dennis Higbee, a subcontractor in the construction industry, died from cancer Friday at his home. He was 49. Memorial service will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church of Bedford. Arlington Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Higbee was born in Milo, Iowa, and had lived in Euless for a year. He had previously lived in Bedford and Colorado. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Survivors: Wife, Diana Robbins Higbee of Euless; son, Dennis Ray Higbee of Denver; two daughters, Wendy Deneff of Fort Collins, Colo., and Devron Reno of Euless; mother, Berniece Higbee of San Diego, Calif.; brother, Gary Higbee of Littleton, Colo.; two sisters, Phyllis Hollingsworth and Jan Stewart, both of San Diego; and two grandchildren.

DOBSCHENSKI MRS HENRIETTA IRENE, Evart, Michigan
Wife of Paul H. Dobschenski, passed away Sunday afternoon at Community Hospital, Big Rapids. Age 56 years. Henrietta Irene Norton was born Jan 26, 1902, in Saginaw. On Aug. 8, 1923, she was married to Mr. Dobschenski in Grand Rapids. After their marriage they lived on a farm south of Merrill until four years ago, when they moved to Chippewa lake. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Merrill, also of the Royal Neighbors of America. Surviving, besides her hsuband, are one daughter, Mrs. Robert Oswald, Ashley; two grandchildren; also one sister, Mrs. Helen Sawmiller, Saginaw; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will take place at 8 30 a.m. Wednes-day at the Case Chapel in Saginaw, 9 a.m. at St. Andrew Church. Rev. Fr. Neil O'Connor will officiate, with burial in Oakwood Cemetery. Friend' may call at the chapel in Saginaw after 7 p.m. Monday, where they wit meet at 8 p.m. Tuesday to say thi Rosary.
