Obituary:
Richard J. Nienberg, 74, of Columbus Grove, died at 5 a.m. Thursday at his residence. He was born April 15, 1929, in Glandorf, to Edward and Clara (Geier) Nienberg. In February 1955, he married Barbara Hilvers, who survives. Other survivors include two sons, John (Elizabeth) Nienberg of Lima and Robert Nienberg; a daughter, Teresa (Bruce) Grear of Lima; four brothers, Ray (Bernadine) Nienberg of Glandorf, Albert (Doris) Nienberg of Gilboa and Edward (Berdilda) Nienberg and Daniel (Pat) Nienberg of Ottawa; a sister, Florence Homier of Continental; two sisters-in-law, Marie Nienberg of Ottawa and Agnes Nienberg of Miller City; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Timothy and David Nienberg; three brothers, Fred, George and David Nienberg; and a sister, Helen Potts. Mr. Nienberg retired as an electrical journeyman from Cooper Tires after 25 years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War as a sergeant first class. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and Bower Slusser American Legion Post 516, Columbus Grove. Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony Catholic Church, the Rev. David Ross officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call 6-9 p.m. today at Hartman Sons Funeral Home, Columbus Grove, where a parish wake will be 8 p.m. today, and one hour prior to services Saturday at the church. Preferred memorials are to St. Rita’s Hospice or St. Anthony School Endowment Fund.

Obituary:
GILBOA - Ileana F. Rose, 93, of Gilboa, was called home to be with the Lord at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, February 7, 2016 at her daughter's residence in Grove City. She was born August 22, 1922 in Paris, France to the late Sever and Fernande Marie (Remaud) Jonesco. On June 7, 1954 she married William Rose who died December 18, 2005.
She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her two children: Diane (Carl) Blackford of Grove City and Harley (Helen) Rose of Ottawa; two grandchildren: Abby Wolford and Jessica (Reuben) Davis; and two great-grandsons: Reuben and Jaxson Davis. She was also preceded in death by a sister: Claudia Schank.
Ileana was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Ottawa and was a former secretary for Ottawa and Leipsic United Methodist Churches. She was a past Choir Mother and she volunteered for the American Cancer Society for 23 years.
A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 13, 2016 at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa with Pastor Lynda Lockwood officiating. Burial will follow in Harman Cemetery, Gilboa. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday, February 12, 2016 at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Donations may be made to American Cancer Society or Paralyzed Veterans.

Obituary:
Dutton, Shirley I. Milan, MI At age 75, passed away peacefully, in her sleep, while at home on Sunday October 30, 2005. Shirley was born near her grand- father's farm in Lake, MI July 18, 1930, the oldest of six children to Ira and Gladys (Darnell) Presswood. The family resided in Ann Arbor where she grew up attended Ann Arbor High School, gradu ating in 1947. Shirley also served in the Women's Air Corp from 1951-1952. After serving in the armed forces she worked in the early computer industry for companies like Kemper Insur ance in Chicago, IL. Locally Shirley worked for Washtenaw Community College where she retired as a cashier after almost 20 years. She also was past president of the Teamsters Clerical Union. Besides her parents, her husband HMC George W. Dutton preceded her in death in 2002. She is survived by two devoted sons; Steven R. (Kristi) King and Thomas G. (Jodi) Dutton, four loving grandchildren, Robert and Lauren King and Madison and Alexander Dutton all of Ann Arbor. Her two sisters Sheila (Ray) Biggs and Colleen Presswood of Ann Arbor, and three brothers Paul (Sandy) Presswood of Cheboygan, MI, Robert Presswood of Houston, TX and Michael Presswood of Wayne also survived. Shirley was greatly loved by her friends and family and all the different pets that she adopted over the years. Her loving husband George affectionately called her Big Red because of her vivid red hair and for often being bigger than life for all of us. She was a source of inspiration and support and always had a quick wit to provide a laugh whenever it was needed. Visitation will be held at Ochalek-Stark Funeral Home, Milan on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-9pm where her funeral services will be on Thursday at 11:00am with Rev. Kristine Sigal officiating. Those desiring may make contribu tions to the Humane Society of Huron Valley, 3100 Cherry Hill Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48105.

Obituary:
TECUMSEH - Geraldine C. Clark, 82, of Tecumseh, went to be with her Lord on April 11, 1997, at her home after an extended illness. She was born Jan. 28, 1915, to Millard and Theresa (Curry) Cheever in Britton. She graduated from Britton High School in 1932 and then from Ypsilanti Normal Teachers College (EMU) with a BS and a Masters in Education. Geraldine taught in the Britton and Tecumseh Schools for 34 years, retiring in 1974. She was a devoted teacher and touched the lives of hundreds of youngsters. She was a member of the Britton Congregational Church, Women's .Fellowship, MEA and Lenawee County Retired Teachers. Geraldine played the piano and loved music. Reading was another of her hobbies and she also did beautiful embroidery work. Her sons-in-law thought her apple pies were the best! Several years ago Geraldine wrote a book as a legacy to her grandchildren entitled "Grandma Remembers." The book contained stories of her early childhood and how things were 'back then.' Each child and grandchild received a copy, and the family has donated one to the Britton Library. She married John M. Beal in 1938 and he preceded her in death in 1961. On Jan. 27, 1968, she married Murell W. Clark and he preceded her in death on June 22, 1996. Geraldine is survived by two daughters, Janet (Cal) Rohrback of St. Johns and Sandra (Fred) Mc-Crate of Tecumseh; one son, Kevin (Lori) Beal of Burlington, Ky.; two stepdaughters, Patricia Choquette of Clinton and Nancy (Dennis) Bourns of Phoenix, Ariz. She is also sur-vived by 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Geraldine was lovingly cared for by Bonnie Hawkins for many years, and most recently Bonnie was as-sisted by Marie Clark, Ruth Ann Salzman, Judy Chastain and Hos-pice of Lenawee. Besides her parents and hus-bands, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald Cheever and Russell Cheever, and one grandson, Todd Choquette. At Geraldine's request, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service. A private memorial service for the family will be held at a later date. Arrangements were made by the Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh.
