Survived by daughters, Traci (Mike) Gorman of Lansing, MI, Robin (Joel) Welch of Elk City, OK, Brenda (Steve) Vanderhoss of Andover, KS; sisters, Betty (Buddy) Frazier of Springfield, Kathy Head of SC; six grandchildren. His remains rest at the Robertson County Funeral Home, where funeral services will be conducted Thursday, at 3 p.m.. Interment will follow in Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m., at the ROBERTSON COUNTY FUNERAL HOME, (615) 384-0036.

Randy Atkinson, 74, passed away on July 24, 2021.
He was born in Des Moines on September 8, 1946, to Alvin and Pauline Atkinson.
Randy grew up in Polk City and resided in Ankeny for some time prior to making Bondurant his home.
He enlisted in the Army National Guard, serving until his honorable discharge.
Randy retired from Bridgestone after 37 years of service. Following retirement, he worked at Prairie Meadows and later alongside Tracy Thoroughbred Racing.
Randy was an avid NASCAR fan.
Randy is survived by his wife, Delores (Terrill-Shimer); son, Brian (Nicki) Atkinson of Pleasant Hill; daughter, Tammi (Al) Atkinson Gorman of Colorado; four granddaughters: Nora, Vanna, Amelia, and Avi; step-daughters, Bonnie Delp of Altoona, Jodi (Scott) Walzer of Des Moines, and Lisa (David) Barkley of Perry; two step-grandsons: Mason and Brice; and four step-granddaughters, Allison, Jenna, Shelby, and Sydney; as well as other loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles.
A graveside service will be held at 10AM on Friday, July 30, 2021, at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, 1 NE 60th Avenue, Des Moines.

Richard E. Jarrad Lansing Age 77 passed away February 2, 2013 reuniting him with his beloved wife Joy. He was born April 13, 1935 in Lansing to Earl and Clara Jarrad. Richard was a United States Navy Veteran, and retired from the Board of Water and Light. He is survived by a daughter Michele Jarrad, and a son Scott (Sue) Jarrad; and three grandchildren: Latasha, Nicole, and T.J. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Joy Jarrad, son Todd (Julie) Jarrad and sister Jackie (Gene) Ducharm. The family would like to extend a special thank you to his granddaughter Latasha Jarrad. The funeral service will be held 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel with interment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donation may be made to Ele's Place.

UGGLE, THOMAS GAY Brevard, NC - Thomas Gay Tuggle, 85, passed away on November 11, 2022. He was born on December 3, 1936, the son of Meril and Rita Tuggle. Thomas was predeceased by his wife Bevella Jean Tuggle, who passed in 2021. Together they shared a large family, including 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Prior to his retirement he spent many happy years in Muskegon, Michigan, the last of which were spent at Big Blue Lake. In 1997 Tom and Bev moved to North Carolina. Tom loved people. He was an avid golfer, had enjoyed many travels, and volunteered extensively with Habitat for Humanity and the American Red Cross. Tom was an avid reader and especially enjoyed a challenging crossword puzzle. Tom loved his family. Even though he lived a distance from his grandchildren, he always made it a point to attend their special events. Always being sure to dance with all of his granddaughters at every family wedding he attended. Tom is survived by his children, Thomas M. Tuggle (Julie), Toni Windquist (Craig), Tammi Shaw (Jim), Terri Cranney, Robert Snyder Jr. (Jane), and Donna Oberle. In addition, his 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Tom is also survived by his siblings, James Tuggle, George Tuggle, and Sally Janikowski. Tom was predeceased by his granddaughter Toni Jean Snyder. A private service is planned. Visitation will be held at Sunset Funeral Home, Danville, Illinois, on December 3, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Bevella Jean Tuggle, 90, peacefully passed with her husband Tom by her side on September 30, 2021. She was born December 26, 1930, the daughter of David and Joyce Ramsey.
Bevella was married to Thomas G. Tuggle. Together they shared a large family, including 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Prior to her retirement she spent many happy years in Muskegon, Michigan, the last of which were spent at Big Blue Lake. In 1997 Tom and Bev moved to North Carolina. Bev loved to travel and volunteered with Habitat for Humanity in Transylvania County after retirement. Bev was an avid reader and shared her enthusiasm for books while working in the public schools as a librarian. Bev also had an interest in genealogy, tracking her family�s roots back hundreds of years.
In addition to her husband Tom, Bev is survived by her children, Robert Snyder Jr. (Jane), Donna Oberle, Terri Cranney, Tammi Shaw (Jim), Toni Windquist (Craig), Thomas M. Tuggle (Julie); in addition to her 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. All of her grandchildren knew they were her favorite. She made them all feel special.
Bev was predeceased by her husband Robert Snyder, her daughter Janice Lynne, and her granddaughter Toni Jean Snyder.
