Forrest L. Yoder, 69, Elkhart, died Thursday, Dec. 17, 2015 at IU Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. He was born Sept. 18, 1946 in Kalamazoo, Mich. to Wilbur & Suzanne (Troyer) Yoder. He married Zelda (Anglemyer) Yoder on Nov. 21, 1993.
Surviving are wife, Zelda Yoder, Elkhart, daughters, Tracy Goff, New York, Nina (Bob) Goff, Middlebury, Jill Grant, Middlebury, Kim (Steve) Allred, Charlotte, NC, Christina (Michael) Lyon, Little Chute, Wisc., grandchildren, Alison Yoder, Daniel Goff, Nathan Yoder, Katelinn Yoder, Cara Grant, Josh Grant, Kayla Allred, Jacob Allred, Elizabeth Lyon, Grace Lyon, Caleb Lyon, Ethan Forrest Lyon and Charlotte Lyon, 1 great-grandchild, Allanah Yoder and a sister, Barbara (Mike) Vitou, Middlebury. Preceding him in death are his parents, Suzanne & Wilbur Yoder, brother, Floyd Yoder and a granddaughter, Ashlie Goff.
Forrest was a retired truck driver from Ventline, Bristol. He attended Granger Community Church, Elkhart.
Visitation will be 3:30-6:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 21, 2015 at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen, with the service following at 6:30 p.m.

Theresa L. "Terrie" McCord, 56 of Elkhart, passed away July 14, 2014 at her home.
She was born August 3, 1957 in Muncie to John and Mary (Sellers) Zirkelbach. She married Jeffrey L. McCord on Jan. 13, 1973 in Muncie. He survives with 3 sons, Spartacus (Stacy) McCord of Edwardsburg, Nathaniel (Angel) McCord Sr. of Bristol and Jeremy (Cindy) McCord of Elkhart; 11 grandchildren, Tyler, Nathaniel Jr., Michael, Austin, Alana, Brittney, Makayla, Kain, Madelyn, Cole and Cayden; 1 great-grandson, Aidyn, 2 sisters, Carmella (Danny) Peckinpaugh and Lise’ (Mark) Beaty and her mother, Mary Barlow all of Muncie, and many foster children. She was preceded in death by her father and step-father.
Terrie was a homemaker and a school bus driver for 10 years for Elkhart Community Schools and a foster parent for White’s Family Service for 8 years. She was a lifetime member of the DAV #19 Ladies Auxiliary.
Visitation for Terrie will be Wednesday, July 16th from 5-8 pm and an hour prior to the 10:30 am service on Thursday, July 17th at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home. Pastor Gene Troyer will officiate. Burial will follow at Little Pine Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to United Cancer Services of Elkhart County or the Center for Hospice Care.

Obituary:
Jerry W. Thomas, age 67 years of Edwardsburg, Mich. and formerly of Niles died at 12:05 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013 at Saint Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis, Ind. following an extended illness.
He was born on Sept. 27, 1946 in South Bend, Ind. to Walter B. and Mary L. (Hall) Thomas. He graduated from Niles High School in 1965 and from Ferris State University in 1968, and has lived in Edwardsburg since 1968. He was employed at Lithotone, Inc. in Elkhart, Indiana for forty-one years, retiring in 2009. In retirement, he has worked at the Hoosier Harley-Davidson dealership in Elkhart.
Jerry enjoyed motorcycling, and was a member of the Elkhart Chapter of H.O.G. (Harley Owners Group). He had traveled extensively including thirty-two of the United States, and parts of Canada. He also enjoyed camping at Hollywood Shores Resort in Union, Michigan, and he enjoyed fishing.
On July 30, 1966 in Niles he married his high school sweetheart, Linda L. Doepker with whom he celebrated in July the forty-seventh anniversary of their marriage.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Thomas and by their children, Daniel S. Thomas and Jennifer R. Clanton, both of Edwardsburg, and Robert J. (Jane) Thomas of South Bend; grandchildren Jacob (Heather) Rouch, Jarrod A. Williams, Nathan R. Thomas, Delaney Thomas, Justin Rouch, and Alexis Clanton; a great-granddaughter, Rylea Rouch; and Jerry’s mother, M. Lucille Thomas of Edwardsburg and brother Bernard James Thomas of Granger, Indiana and many nieces and nephews.
Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Walter Thomas, and brothers David A. Thomas and Neil L. Thomas.
The funeral service for Jerry W. Thomas will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at the Halbritter Funeral Home in Niles with the pastor of Granger Missionary Church officiating, and will conclude with a motorcade including motorcycles to his gravesite at Edwardsburg Cemetery.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 2 until 4 p.m. and 6 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Contributions in memory of Jerry may be made to the American Heart Association.

Edwardsburg - Mary Lucille (Hall) Thomas Hamel, 94, passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2017 in her Lake Home on Baldwin Lake in Union, MI, the place she always hoped she would live out her last days.
Lucille was born on October 11, 1922, in Lake City, MI to the late Bernard J. and Edith P. (Seiting) Hall. In 1941, Lucille married Walter B. "Bert" Thomas and he passed away in 1980. On October 24, 1987, Elkhart, IN she married David S. Hamel and he passed away on August 21, 1989. She was also preceded in death by sons, Jerry, David and Neil; and her brothers, Claude, Robert, Seymour and Clifford Hall; sisters, Esther Lossing, and Pearl Weaver.
Lucille is survived by her son, Bernie Thomas; 3 daughters-in-law, Mari (Wilken) Thomas, Donna (Lennox) Thomas, and Linda (Doepker) Thomas; step-children, Ruth Tatasunas and David Hamel; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Lucille was a member of Granger Missionary Church, a volunteer at Cass County Council on Aging. She enjoyed camping at Baldwin Lake in Union, MI and in Northern, MI. 4-H, sewing and knitting was a passion in her life that allowed her to make many things including wedding dresses for young brides.
A special "Thank You" to her many lake friends and to Pastor Tom.
Funeral Service will be at 11am on Thursday, July 6, 2017 in HALBRITTER WICKENS FUNERAL HOME, 615 E. Main St., Niles where family and friends may gather two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens.

Margaret Ann Sharp of Davison, formerly of Flushing age 77, died Thursday January 4, 2018 at her residence. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place No services are being held at this time. Margaret was born in Alma Michigan on April 24, 1940 the daughter of the late: Clair and Gertrude (Doepker) Sharp and had resided in the Flushing area for many years and Davison since 1998. Surviving is sister: Mary and husband John Andrykovich, Richard and wife Waynette Sharp, and David and wife Grace Sharp. She also leaves several nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her niece Sharyn Thompson.
