Obituary:
Funeral services for Matilda A. Riedmiller, age 73, of Manchester, will be conducted at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Horace Lee Jacobs officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Mill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 10 AM until time of service on Tuesday. Mrs. Riedmiller passed away on Friday morning at Harton Regional Medical Center.
Ms. Riedmiller was born in East Stroudsburg, PA, the daughter of the late Herbert Carl and Florence E. Sebring Brauer. She received her Master's degree in Art from Western Carolina University. She was a business manager with Sapphire Valley Realty. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother. She is survived by two sons, William Riedmiller of Shinglehouse, PA and Joe (Carol) Riedmiller of Austin, PA; two daughters, Janet Orton of Woodbury and Carol (Joseph) Gorman of Petersburg, TN; six grandchildren, Christopher (Tiffany) James, Jesse Riedmiller, Billy Riedmiller, Melissa (Andrew) Beaty, Michael Orton, and William (Tiffany) Orton; and two great grandchildren, Vincent Orton and Ruth Ann Harville.

Age 85, of Beverly Hills, Michigan, passed away February 26, 2007. He is survived by his loving wife, Virginia; sons, Gary (Various) and Scott (Margaret); daughter, Joanne Blair (Roger); grandchildren, Jeffrey, Kimberly, Ryan and Katherine; great grandchildren, Grace, Jack and Jacqueline. Mr. Menzel was born in Monroe, Michigan, is a graduate of Michigan State Univeristy, earned a post-graduate degree at Wayne State University and served overseas as a Navy officer in WWII. He founded M.C.S. Engineers, was a past president of M.A.C.E.L.S. and a member of First Presbyterian Church of Birmingham. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 4, 2007, at the church located at 1669 W. Maple Road, Birmingham, Michigan. Donations may be sent to the First Presbyterian Church of Birmingham Rejoice and Renew Fund.

Virginia A. Menzel, a resident of Beverly Hills since 1963, died May 29, 2011, at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. She was 90 years old. Virginia was born May 26, 1921, in Detroit, to Anna (nee Waltham) and Richard Moore. She was a graduate of Northern High School and Michigan State University. Virginia was an active volunteer for several organizations, among them, Child Research Center League, Open Door Mission at Fort Street Presbyterian Church and Hospice of Southeastern Michigan. She was also active in her church, First Presbyterian Church of Birmingham.
Virginia is survived by her children, Gary Menzel, Scott Menzel, and Joanne (Roger) Blair, and grandchildren, Jeffrey, Kimberly, Ryan, and Katherine. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Grace, Jack, Ella, Jackie, Drew, and Emmy. Virginia is preceded in death by her husband, William and granddaughter, Anna.
A Memorial Service will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 1669 Maple Road, Birmingham, Wednesday 10am.

Arlene Johannah Hansen, age 86, died on April 24, 2006 at her winter residence in Nokomis, FL. She was born on October 27, 1919 in Amble, Michigan. She lived in Lansing, MI for 60 years before relocating to Kalkaska, MI. She has been wintering in Nokomis for 30 years. She was a secretary for the Michigan State Head of Food Services, in East Lansing, MI before retiring 23 years ago.
She is survived by her children, Richard Hansen of Nokomis, FL and Judy King of Greenville, MI; sister, Joanne Lindsey of Lakeview, MI; 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Memorial Donations may be made in her name to the American Diabetes Association, Southwest FL Office, 4902 Eisenhower Blvd., Suite 295, Tampa, FL 33634.
Funeral Services will be held at a later date in Michigan.
