Alice was a graduate of Glandorf High School. Her love for cooking led her to cook for weddings in the area for years. We believe at one time or another she fed everyone in the county. She also loved traveling. She and Harold traveled to different parts of the world, including a tour of Europe. Gardening was a must in the spring. Many hours were spent canning and freezing the produce she grew. She loved to go on bus trips with family and friends. If by chance three of a kind came up it was a good day. If five in a row showed up on her bingo card it was awesome. In her spare time she enjoyed quilting. She made over 100 quilts. Miller City wildcats and the Ohio State Buckeyes just lost a big fan. She attended sporting events at Miller City when she could.
