Obituary:
Charles L. Vandlik, 71, died Monday, June 7, 2004, at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital after a long battle with leukemia. Charlie was born April 1, 1933, in Mansfield to John and Katherine Stehle Vandlik. In 1951, he graduated from Mansfield Senior High School and then worked at Westinghouse from 1951-1953. He was inducted into the U.S. Army in 1953 and was honorably discharged as a Sergeant in 1955. From 1956-1960 he attended Ohio University in Athens majoring in accounting and playing for three years on the golf team where he achieved many accomplishments including playing on three MAC championship teams; MAC Medalist honors in 1959, tied for second in 1960 and sixth in 1958. He won the Greenbrier Invitational and fired a 62 in the final round winning the Mansfield City Open, both in 1959. For the remainder of his life, he loved teaching golf. In 1960 he moved to Findlay, Ohio where he resided for 40 years working first as an accountant at Marathon Oil Company and then as a manufacturer�s representative until his retirement. He was inducted into the Ohio University Athletic Hall of Fame in 1980 for golf. His picture now hangs in the Convocation Center at Ohio University on permanent display. In addition to golf, Charlie was an avid fisherman.
He was married to Kay Donelson from 1951-1995 and she survives him along with their three children, Kim David Beitzel, Craig Susan Vandlik and Wendy Gary Crawford and seven grandchildren, Nathan Sara, Chad, Ben, Allison, Ashley, Dennis and Olivia. He is also survived by three sisters, Marilyn Kilzer, Corrine Grassel and Myrna Roth. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Carol Mathias.
Memorial services will be held at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Sunday, June 13 at 1:00 p.m. Friends may call at the funeral home one-hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, Charlie requested contributions be made to the Ohio University Golf Team, Attention Kermit Blosser Fund.

Obituary:
MOUNT BLANCHARD � Gary L. Benjamin, age 77, of Mt. Blanchard, died unexpectedly from a heart attack on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Blanchard Valley Hospital. He was born July 28, 1937 in Forest to the late Cletus G. �Dave� & Juanita V. (Carpenter) Benjamin. Mr. Benjamin married Barbara A. Hinebaugh on April 27, 1958 and she survives in Mt. Blanchard.
He is also survived by their children, Cathy (Jim) Wortman of Forest, Keith (Cheryl) Benjamin of Van Buren, Angela (Steve) Thrall of Findlay, Brian (Dawn) Benjamin of Findlay; grandchildren, Craig Wortman, Tiffany Miller, Amie Noel, Sarah Benjamin, Breanne & Lauren Thrall; great-grandchildren, Emalee & Natalie Noel, Levi & Piper Miller, Gretchen & Clark Wortman; and a sister, Jeannette (Dwayne) Withrow of Mt. Blanchard.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Elberta DeLong.
He was a life long member and deacon of Church of God-Toledo. Mr. Benjamin first worked for UAP in Forest and Kuss Filtration Inc. in Findlay. He patented a solar heating unit. In 1983 he and his wife started Bena Inc. of Van Buren, and the business is still operated by his family.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 27, 2015 at CLARK SHIELDS Funeral Home, with Dan Baker officiating. Interment will follow in Hueston Cemetery, Forest.
Visitation will be held from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Sunday, July 26, 2015 at CLARK SHIELDS Funeral Home.

Obituary:
Gloria M. Marshall Leddy went home to be with her Lord on Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, at Primrose Assisted Living, surrounded by her family.
She was born on Aug. 10, 1929, to Clair and Emma Marshall, and they preceded her in death. On Feb. 18, 1950, she married Thomas J. Leddy. He preceded her in death in 2004.
Gloria is survived by five children: Karen Wortman Isch, Susan (Dennis) Olmstead, Thomas K. (Sue) Leddy, Bryan J. (Mugsy) Leddy, and Christine Treece; 19 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Gloria is also survived by siblings: Lynn (Avonelle) Marshall, Orville (Mary Lou) Marshall, Bill (Donna) Marshall, Keith Marshall and Shirley (Jack) Thurstin, and sister-in-law, Joan Marshall.
Brothers Marlin Marshall and Neil Marshall, and sister, Donna Tyler are deceased.
Gloria and her husband moved to Findlay in 1962. They later opened Jeans Plus and House of Fine Furniture. While Tom was managing the local Britt's Department Store, Gloria enjoyed her role as homemaker and raising their five children. Gloria was an active member of St. Michael the Archangel Parish, where she spent many years serving on retreats, RCIA, Eucharistic ministry, and many other volunteer activities.
She was compassionate about her family, well known for her compassionate heart for others and her incredible gift of hospitality. Family and friends were always welcomed with her gift of cooking homemade meals and incredible baked goods.
Visitation will be from 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012, at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, Findlay.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, East, with the Rev. Msgr. Michael Hohenbrink as celebrant.
Burial will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Findlay.
Memorials may be made to St. Michael the Archangel Parish and/or to the Findlay City Mission. Online condolences may be made via www.coldrencrates.com.
