Frances Louise Perkins Leatham DeLong, 85, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2012, in Milan, Ind., where she was a resident at Ripley Crossing. Frances was born on Oct. 7, 1926, in Millville, Ohio to Ina and Luke Perkins.
Frances graduated from Western Hills High School, in Cincinnati, in 1944. Upon graduation, Frances worked at Procter and Gamble in Cincinnati, Ohio, until her retirement in 1983, after 34 years of service. Frances worked as a telephone switchboard operator and administrative assistant at Procter and Gamble. Frances enjoyed traveling. She particularly enjoyed her trips to Las Vegas, New York City, Chicago, Mammoth Cave, and Niagara Falls with her family. She enjoyed a cruise to Alaska and vacationing in Florida and the Caribbean. She was a great decorator and enjoyed changing her home as the seasons changed and for holidays. Christmas was her favorite holiday to celebrate by decorating her home. Frances also enjoyed antique hunting with her friends and family.
She is survived by her daughter, Jo (Jody) Anne (Leatham) Krieger from Fountaintown, Ind.; granddaughter, Sheri (Krieger) Kennerk, and grandson, Shawn Parker, both from Indianapolis.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ernest (Pete) Leatham and Samuel DeLong � both veterans of World War II.
Memorial contributions can be made in her name to the Alzheimer�s Foundation.

Zelma I. Kress, age 89, of St. Louis, formerly of Riverdale, passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at Schnepp Health Care Center.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 24th at 10am at Lux and Schnepp Funeral Home, Riverdale. Interment will be in Ferris Center Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday from 4-7 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Schnepp Health Care Center or charity of choice
Zelma was born January 18, 1921 in Alma the daughter of Bert and Nellie Campbell. She married LeRoy Kress on February 10, 1941 in Alma. She enjoyed sewing. crocheting, cross stitching and watching classic movies.
Zelma is survived by a son, James (Julie) Kress of Riverdale, five daughters, Jeanne (Dave) Sink of Napoleon, Ohio, Beatrice (Steve Wiseman) Sattler of Celina, Ohio, Judy (Edward) Bigelow of Elwell, Rosemary (Terry) Neyer of Mt. Pleasant and Karen Bowker of St. Louis. Also 22 grandchildren and many great and great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, LeRoy, a brother, Don Campbell, a sister, Beulah Case and three half brothers, Hank, Harold and Floyd Wells.

Native Grant Countian Dies In Michigan City
Mrs. Gertrude (Gibson) Harman, sister of Mrs. John Middleton of Dry Ridge, died May 29th in Lansing, Mich., after a brief illness. A native of Grant county, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Fannie Gibson. Burial was in Deepdale Memorial park in Lansing. Other survivors include her husband, Lee Harman: a daughter, Mrs. Jerry Staley of Ovid, Mich.; two sons, Ronald of Lansing and Robert of Mississippi: two brothers, Charles and Atwood Gibson of Crittenden: and nine grandchildren.

HARMON, OLLIE LEE St. Johns Formerly of Lansing
Died March 4, 1996 at the age of 93. Born in Lawrenceburg, TN on September 29. 1902, he was the son of Godfrey and Elizabeth (George) Harmon, and lived most of his life in Lansing. His marriage to Gertrude Gibson ended with her death in 1969. 0llie retired from Fisher Body after 44 years of service, and was an avid gardener and outdoorsman. He is survived by 1 daughter, Joyce (Richard) Young of Ovid; 2 sons, Robert G. Harmon of Mason and Ronald A. Harmon of Eagle; 9 grandchildren and several greatgrandchildren including 1 special granddaughter, Jamie Grennell along with 2 great-granddaughters, Torie and Taner Grennell of Perry; 1 brother, Heber Harmon of Lansing; and 1 sister, Ynell Dwyer of Hamson. He was also preceded in death by 1 son, Richard Harmon in 1948; and 1 granddaughter. Julie Stacey in 1986. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, at Deepdale Memorial Gardens Chapel in Lansing. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Osgood Funeral Home.

Bruce E. Doty DeWitt Bruce E. Doty, age 72, formerly of Lake Odessa went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 16, 2013, surrounded by family and a friend at his home. On December 1, 1940 in Lake Odessa, MI Bruce was born to Myrl E. and Dorothy May (Mumaw) Doty. He was a 1959 graduate of Lake Odessa High School. Bruce worked for GM for 32 years retiring as a Senior Supervisor of Experimental Assembly. Bruce enjoyed restoring Model A's and T's along with hunting, but his latest obsession was playing golf. Spoiling the grandchildren was also favorite pass time of his. Surviving Bruce are: wife Nancy Doty, children Karen (David) Gorman, Tammie Savage, Bruce (Val) Doty, Mary Schueller, nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, siblings Maureen (Dean) Cross, Shirley (Mike) Brighton, Diane (Leon) Pitchford, along with many in-laws and their families and many special friends including Steve Spedoske. Bruce is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Gordon and Douglas Doty. A Celebration of Bruce's life will be held at his home 10701 Forest Hill Road in DeWitt, MI on Sunday, October 20, 2013 at 1 p.m. Donations may be given to the family for distribution to his favorite charities. The family was assisted by Koops Funeral Chapel of Lake Odessa.
