Ronald E Jean Sr.
Age 95, of Jackson, MI, formerly of Lansing, passed away January 12, 2017. He was born October 17, 1921, in Lansing, MI, to the late Sovereign and Marguirite Jean.
Ronald was a World War II veteran. He was a lifelong resident of Lansing until 1979 when he and his wife, Marcia, relocated to Clearwater, FL. He retired from Michigan Bell Telephone Co. in Lansing in 1976. He was an avid golfer who made 3 holes-in-one in his life, the last at age 87!
He was a lifetime member of the American Legion, first in Lansing, and then Post #7 in Clearwater, FL.
Ronald is survived by his son, Ronald E. Jean, Jr. and wife Mary V. Jean; daughter, Barbara L. Wetherbee; 4 grandsons, Ronald E. Jean III and wife Julie Jean, Mark R. Jean, Scott R. Wetherbee and wife Tracy J. Wetherbee, and Erik A. Wetherbee; 6 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marcia E. Jean.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 18, 2017, at Evergreen Cemetery, Lansing. Memorial contributions may be made to Southern Care Hospice Services, 1965 Boardman Road, Suite B, Jackson, MI 49202.

ARBUTUS M. FULKS, 69, of Vinton, wife of Ralph Fulks, died Thursday at home. Also surviving are one son, Rodney Fulks of Vinton; one daughter, Brenda Neal of Perry , Mich.; and two brothers, Robert Meade of Rittman and Walter Meade of Norton. Watson, JohnC, Holt, MI, age 49, passed away peacefully at home with family by his side after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was born November 26, 1955 in Canton, OH. He was employed with Digilink Computer, Inc. as Vice President. He enjoyed everything involving electronics, music, movies, and was especially fond of family gatherings. John was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. He touched the hearts of everyone he knew and will be greatly missed by all. Survivors include his wife, Susan; stepsons, Chaoron and Kevin of Holt; daughter, Farrah (Brian) Neal of Lansing; parents, Margaret (Frederick) Bates of Holt and Harlow (Beverly) Watson of Canton, OH; sister, Debbie (Ron) Ward of Holt; brother, Mickey Bates of Holt; half-sister, Candy (Phil) Bond of Dover, OH; special aunt, Joyce Wilson of N. Canton, OH; along with many other aunts, uncles, extended family members and friends. Funeral Liturgy will be held at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 1 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Those who wish may make memorial. contributions, in loving memory of John C. Watson, to the Great Lakes Cancer Institute.

Linda Gay Brewer age 59 of Corunna, Michigan died on Saturday, June 16, 2007 at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Funeral Services will be held at Corunna First Baptist Church in Corunna, Michigan on Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will be Monday June 18, 2007 from 6-8 P.M. & Tuesday June 19, 2007 from 6-8 P.M. Pastor Tim Shannon will officiate with burial at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Owosso, Michigan.
Linda was born in Owosso, Michigan on October 13, 1947 the daughter of James & Ardith (Synder) Brewer. She graduated from Corunna High School with the class of 1965 then she attended Lansing Community College where she earned her associates degree. She retired in 2006 from Shiawassee County Health Department where she was the secretary. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, going to the cottage up north, reading, and she enjoyed making cakes for people for their weddings and graduations.
Survivors include her son Todd & Rebecca Brewer of Corunna, Michigan, 2 grandchildren; Brock Brewer and Kylee Brewer, 1 sister Nelda & Jerry Foss of Tawas, Michigan, 1 brother Tom & Linda Brewer of Owosso, Michigan, 1 uncle Wes & Wanda Snyder, 1 aunt Mary Ayers of Owosso, Michigan, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, 1 sister Fran Valdez, and nephew Jimmy Brewer.
