Obituary:
Richard C. Peterson, age 75, went to be with our Lord Saturday October 15, 2011 at his home. He was born in Lakewood, Ohio on November 25, 1936 and lived in Avon, Ohio for over 45 years coming from N. Ridgeville. A U.S. Army veteran, he retired in 2000 from Timm Springs Co. (Emtec Corp.) as a Tool & Die Designer and Engineer. He was an avid Buckeye fan and runner and also enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and spending time with his family and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Lora (nee Greene) Peterson, children David (Laura) of Marysville, Ohio, Christopher (Wanda) of Clarksburg, MD., Lori (Curtis) Leckron of State Line, PA., grandchildren Emily, Jacob, twins Luke and Jack, Sarah, Lillian, step-grandchildren Rachel, Jillian, and Jeremy, sister Eleanor (Fred) Schanz of Seven Hills, and several nieces, nephews, and great neighbors and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Peter and Laura (nee Yobst) Peterson, and brother-in-law William Prante. The family will receive friends Monday October 17, 2011 from 3-8 PM at the MISENCIK FUNERAL HOME, 36363 Detroit Rd. Avon and Tuesday from 9:00 AM until time of funeral home service at 10:00 AM. which will be officiated by Calvary Baptist Pastor David Skelton. Interment at Resthaven Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 32607 Electric Blvd., Avon Lake, Ohio 44012.

Obituary:
Anton "Tony" J. Kelsch, 91, Linton, ND died Saturday, December 24, 2011 in the Linton Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 29, 2011 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Linton, ND. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Myers Funeral Home where there will be a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue for one hour before service time on Thursday at the church. Anton "Tony" J. Kelsch was born September 6, 1920 in Linton, ND, the son of Joseph and Catherine (Senger) Kelsch. He grew up on the family farm east of Linton. Tony attended country school until the 8th grade when he started to work on the family farm. He entered the Army Signal Corp in 1942. Tony married Viola E. Wohl on October 17, 1945. They continued to farm 18 miles east of Linton which was about five miles from where Tony grew up. They moved to Linton in 1953 where Tony did commercial trucking and custom combining. In 1974 he started working in road construction until he retired in 1992. After retirement Tony enjoyed wood-working, making Christmas decorations and gifts for family. Tony's most enjoyable experiences were spending time with his grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and was very respected for his ability to talk to almost anyone, as he was always interested in their lives and opinions. Besides doing woodwork and projects, he enjoyed playing dominoes and cards and taking care of his cats. Tony was an Honorary Life Member of the Knights of Columbus, Linton American Legion and St. Anthony's Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Viola, Linton, ND, three daughters and sons-in-law, Cynthia and Al Fischer, Bloomington, MN, Lottie and Larry Place, Leipsic, Ohio, and Sheen and Richard Deis, Bismarck, ND; four grandchildren, Rick (Rose) Fischer, Naperville, IL, Crystal (Joe) McGowan, New York, NY, Ashley (Lesti) Place, Indianapolis, IN and Shana Heinricy (Jared Miller), Albuquerque, NM and three great grandchildren, Nicholas Fischer, Emily Fischer and Neila McGowan, one brother and sister-in-law, Joe and JoAnn Kelsch of Linton, one sister and brother-in-law, Loretta and Clarence Burgad of Bismarck, two sisters-in-law, Malonia Kelsch of Linton and Annette Kelsch of Linton. He was preceded in death by his parents, two grandchildren, Sean Heinricy and Larina Place, four brothers, Gregory Kelsch, Alvin Kelsch, Aloys Rohrich and John Rohrich and three sisters, Alice Eberle, Maggie Fischer and Rose Schumacher.
