Marvin Lee Walker 06/02/38-02/08/03 West Valley City: The loving center of our family, Marvin Lee Walker, 64, passed away February 8, 2003 at the LDS Hospital. He was born June 2, 1938 in Beaver, Utah to Jasper Lee and Thnelda Littlefield Walker. He graduated from Beaver High School. He worked for Kennecott in Ely, Nevada. He served honorably in the U.S. Navy and the Beaver National Guard. He married Janet Williams on July 20, 1962 in the St George LDS Temple, and they have three beautiful children. He worked for consolidated Freight Ways for 30 years. Marvin loved and took care of his family. He adored his grandsons. Marvin was a master carpenter and restored antique furniture to its original beauty. He loved to fish and camp in the Beaver Mountains. He is survived by his wife Janet of West Valley City, Children, Tina (Tommy) Nguyen of West Jordan, Tad James Walker of Salt Lake City and Tyler Lee Walker of West Valley City. He has two grandsons Christopher and Adam Nguyen of West Jordan. Mother, Thnelda Walker of Beaver, Brother Nolan Walker of Beaver and sister Dorene (Lean) Smith of West Jordan. He was preceded in death by his father Jasper Lee and two brothers, Sterling and Larry Walker. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2003 at 12:00 p.m. at the Beaver LDS 1st Ward Chapel. Friends may pay their respects on Friday evening at the Olpin Southern Utah Mortuary from 7:00-8:30 p.m. and on Saturday at the Church from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Mountain View Cemetery under the direction of Olpin Southern Utah Mortuary. Marvin we will miss you!
