Obituary:
Jayne Lee Ann Ramsayer (b. June 23, 1954) of Bemidji, finally made it to heaven on the beautiful morning of Friday, November 4, 2016. She was set free from her long struggle with Multiple Sclerosis by her recent cancer diagnosis. She has joined her mother Frances Leopold. Jayne left behind a loving family, including her husband of 39 years, Gerald Ramsayer, sons Ryan, Nate, and Ben Ramsayer, grandchildren Katrina, Madeleine, and Cohen, father Winfred Leopold, brother Charlie Leopold, and sisters Lori Cobb and Heidi Horsch. She was also blessed with many nieces and nephews, and would consider many of her friends to be family as well.
Born and raised in Duluth where she worked as a Registered Dietician, Jayne has made Bemidji her home since 1986. She loved nothing in this world more than her family and happily sacrificed everything for them; her face always lit up when she spoke of them. Jayne loved God with all her heart and saw him in all things. She found joy in the simple things in life. Even in the face of a crippling disease, Jayne remained the most positive person one could possibly meet. She was always there with a smile to lighten your day and words of encouragement to look on the bright side of life. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no formal funeral or memorial service. In lieu of flowers or donations, Jayne would rather have everyone spend time with their loved ones and live each day like it is a blessing.
For many years Jayne looked forward to reuniting with her family and friends in heaven. Her wish has come true.
