SHEETER-FELTZ NUPTIAL EVENT Marriage of Miss Jeanne Ann Feltz and Edward Arnold Sheeter Takes Place at St. John's Catholic Church Saturday Morning at 9:00 O'clock - Reception at Home of Bride from 2:00 to 5:00 O'clock - Couple to Reside with Bridegroom's Parents. In an attractive ceremony performed at St. John's Catholic church Saturday morning at 9:00 o'clock, Miss Jeanne Ann (Feltz, 'daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Feltz, North Main street, became the bride of Edward Arnold Sheeter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Sheeter, North Jefferson street. The Rev. Isadore Fries was celebrant of the nuptial high Mass and performed the double ring ceremony. The children's choir of the school sang the Mass;- Tlie bride, given in marriage, by her father, wore a gown of white jersey and fashioned, with a round neckline, short sleeves and an overskirt of net over satin. Her finger [undecipherable] Mildred Heising, and Miss Marjorie Phillips, cousin of the bride, was bridesmaid. Another cousin, Miss Carolyrr Copeland, was junior-bridesmaid, and Thomas Feltz, brother of the bride, was ring-bearer. The bridegroom chose his brother-in-law, Roman Hilvers, to be his best man and ushers were Artlur Sheeter and Leroy Allemeier. Miss Heising Wore a gown of powder blue similar to that of the bride. Her headdress was a blue halo ancl she carried a colonial bouquet of pink asters. She wore elbow-length gloves of white mesh. The bridesmaid wore a gown of yellow similar to that of the bride and the maid of honor. She wore white elbow-length gloves and carried a colonial bouquet of deep purple asters. Her headdress was a yellow halo. The junior bridesmaid was - attired in a gown of pink tafetta and net over a full skirt. Her cokmial bouquet was of lavender asters and she wore a headdress of lavender flowers. All three attendants wore gold lockets, the gift of the bride. Thomas Feltz, the ring bearer, carried a white satin pillow in the center of which were two white satin rosettes, each holding a ring. The men in the bridal party wore white asters as boutonnieres. The bride's mother wore a black dress with black accessories. Her corsage was of American Beauty roses. The bridegroom's mother wore a black dress with matching accessories and her corsage was also of American Beauty roses, At 11:30 o'clock a dinner was served at the home of the bride for the immediate families. A three tiered wedding cake topped with a miniature bride and groom centered the table. A reception will .be held in the afternoon from 2:00 to 5:00 o'clock. The couple will leave on a short wedding trip. For traveling, the bride will wear an aqua suit with black accessories. The bride attended St.. John's high school and has been employed at the Westinghouse office for the past year and a half. Mr. Sheeter attended St. John's high school and was recently discharged after two and a half years service in the Army, six months of which were spent over-seas. He is employed at the Nickel Plate Railroad in Lima. Following their trip the couple will live with the bridegroom's parents.

Obituary:
Jeanne A. Boerger, 84, died at 12:35 a.m. Dec. 27, 2012, at Kindred Hospital, Lima.
She was born March 23, 1928, in Lima to Marvin J. and Emmaline A. Wurm Feltz, who preceded her in death. On Nov. 30, 1971, she married Donald A. Boerger, who died Sept. 1, 2007.
Mrs. Boerger was a 1946 graduate of St. John High School. She had been a waitress at the Milano Club. She was a member of American Legion Post 96 Auxiliary, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275 Auxiliary, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 370 and AARP. She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church for more than 20 years. She was proud of her heritage in that her great-grandparents stated the Citizens Loan & Building in Lima. She was an avid reader and enjoyed working crossword puzzles, cooking and baking. She will be dearly missed by her dog Peppi.
Survivors include three sons, Michael (Sue) Sheeter and David Sheeter, both of Lima, and James (Lisa) Graham, of Morningview, Ky.; two daughters, Susan Page, of Lima, and Julie (Jim) Lott, of Fort Pierce, Fla.; a brother, Thomas (Myrna) Feltz, of Lima; and 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Feltz; and a sister, Mary Catherine Wollam.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Charles Catholic Church. Father Stephen Blum will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery.

Obituary:
Donald A. Boerger, 79, died at 4:15 p.m. Sept. 1, 2007, at St. Rita’s Medical Center.
He was born July 29, 1928, in Allen County to Arthur and Marcille Otte Boerger. He was married on Nov. 30, 1971, to Jeanne A. Feltz Boerger, who survives in Lima.
Mr. Boerger retired as a clerk after 43 years with Conrail railroad. Previously he had worked with Erie Lackawana Rail Road. He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 370. He was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275 and served as quartermaster. He was a life member of the Cooties Pup Tent 6. He was a member of American Legion Post 96 and Transportation Communications International Union. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army who served during the Korean War.
Survivors also include three stepsons, Michael Sheeter, of Lima, David Sheeter, of Lima, and James Graham, of Morningview, Ky.; two stepdaughters, Susan Page, of Lima, and Julie Lott, of Fort Pierce, Fla.; a brother, Tom (Pat) Boerger, of Winterhaven, Fla.; two sisters, Ruth Fromm, of Lima, and Mary Ann (Clyde) Cook, of Lima; and 10 stepgrandchildren and five stepgreat-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, James Boerger; and two sisters, Dorothy Jean Williams and Jacqueline McKinley.
Services will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. The Rev. Stephen Blum will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani Mausoleum, Lima, where military rites will be provided by VFW Post 1275.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Chiles-Laman Funeral Homes, Shawnee Chapel, where a VFW Post 1275 Memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. and a Catholic Wake Service will be held at 8 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church or a Mass of the donor’s choice.

James F. Lott, Jr., 55, died July 26, 2015 in Miami, Florida.
Mr. Lott was a lifelong resident of Fort Pierce, Florida.
He was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing, boating, traveling, treasure hunting and magic.

Obituary:
Ruth E. Clardy, age 90, of Pensacola Florida, passed away September 11, 2014. Ruth was a teacher in the Hastings Area School System in Hastings Michigan for 20 years. Ruth married Fay Clardy in 1983 and later moved to Pensacola, FL. Fay Clardy passed away in 2013. Ruth is survived by her Son and Daughter in Law Paul and Joan Quinlan, Daughter Carol Taylor, Daughter Susan and Michael Sheeter, three grand children and five great grand children. Ruth will be buried at the Riverside cemetery in Hastings. Arrangements are still pending.
