Obituary:
Mary J. Blonde, 75, of Litchfield, died Wednesday, February 7, 2007, at her home. Mrs. Blonde was born March 15, 1931, in Albion, to Alfred and Ina (Lake) Avery. She married Marion L. "Tliffy" Blonde September 17, 1949, and he preceded her in death in 2004. Mrs. Blonde graduated from Homer High School in 1949. She had worked at the Print 'N Post, Hayner's Jewelry and Blonde's Farm Supply. She was a member of the Litchfield United Methodist Church. Mrs. Blonde is survived by four sons, Mark (Kathy) Blonde, and Steven (Cindy) Blonde, all of Litchfield, Philip (Pam) Blonde of Quincy, and Scott (Marion) Blon-de of Cape Coral, Florida; eight grandchildren; four step-grand-children; 16 great-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Walsh and Shirley Boldrey. Funeral services were held Saturday at the Litchfield United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Carl Litchfield officiating. Inter-ment followed at Mount Hope Cemetery in Litchfield. Memorial contributions may be made to the Litchfield United Methodist Church or Hospice of Hillsdale County.
