Bio:
Tom Warriner
Tom graduated from Lansing Sexton High School in 1963. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in1969 and later a Master's Degree in Administration from Central Michigan University. He taught math for 39 years at Greenville Middle School and was awarded the School Bell Award in 2008.
He was best known as the girls track coach at GHS for 22 years from 1978 to 1999. Tom's girls track teams won six Conference and three Regional championships during his tenure. He coached a number of individual Regional Champions and two State Champions. In 1992, he was voted Regional Coach of the Year and was one of four coaches up for State Coach of the Year. His team placed third at the class A State Track meet that year. Since stepping down as the Girl's track and field coach in 1999, Tom has worked at the Middle and High School track and cross country meets as the head timer.
He also coached many other sports in Greenville including 8th grade and JV boys basketball for ten years; Freshman, JV and Varsity football for 15 years, Girls Varsity basketball for fi ve years (one year District Champions), and Middle School boys track for four years.
Tom was a stand-out athlete in high school, participating in track, football and basketball. He was a member of the 1961 State Champion football team at Sexton.
Family: Married to Jane for 49 years; he has a daughter and a son, Amy (Tim) and Max (Louise). He also has five grandchildren, Sean, Megan, Lindsay, Karly, and Max.

William F. Riley. Sr. William F. Riley. Sr.. 72. of 612 W. Genesee st.. died Saturday evening at a local hospital following a long Illness. He is survived by the widow. Ottillie; two sons. Joseph Riley and Donald Riley. both of Lansing: one daughter. Mrs. Charles N. Murphy. also of Lansing: one brother. Walter Riley of Williamsville. N. Y.: two sisters. Mrs. Harry Abrahamson of Teaneck. N. .T.. and Mrs. Louis Nessi of Palisale N.J. and 17 grandchildren. Born in Jersey City. N.J. Mr. Riley had been a resident of Lansing since 1928. He was sales representative for a Milwaukee. Wis.. shoe firm for 35 years in New York. Indiana and Michigan. and for 18 years was associated with the Schaefer Shoe shop in Lansing until his retirement due to ill health. He was a member of St. Mary cathedral and Holy Name society. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 9:30 o'clock at St. Mary Cathedral. Prayer services for Mr. Riley will be held Tueday evening at 8:15 o'clock at the Lavey funeral home. Burial will be in St. Joseph's cemetery.

Mrs. Riley, age 81. died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 1975 at a local hospital. She is survived by 1 daughter, Mrs. Teresita Murphy of Lansing and 19 grandchildren. She was a member of St. Gerard Church and was a charter member of the Church of the Resurrection, and also a charter member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church and a former member of St. Mary's Cathedral. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10 a.m. at St. Gerard Church with the Rev. Fr. Joseph McHugh officiating. The funeral sermon will be delivered by the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Jerome V. MacEachin, pastor of St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Prayer services will be held Friday evening at 7:30 at the Lavey Funeral Home. Bearers will be Brian Riley, Terry Riley, Dan Riley. Gary Riley, Larry Riley, John Riley, Tom Murphy and Don Neal. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.

FELDPAUSCH, LOUIS G. "LOUIE"
Age 74, passed away on December 2, 1996. He was born on September 1, 1922, in Lansing and had been a resident of the Holt area for all of his life. Mr. Feldpausch retired from Fisher Body in 1979 after 28 years of service; was a veteran of World War II, serving with the Blue Devils in the U.S. Army in Italy, receiving a Purple Heart; and was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans. Surviving are his wife, Beverly; 3 sons, Richard (Linda), Michael (Sharon), and Robert, all of Holt; daughter, Pamela (Reg) Smith of Eaton Rapids; 10 grandchildren. Shawn Parkhurst, Randi Bassett, Annie Lee, Jennifer, Michael, Tony, Robby, Justin, Chris and Dan Feldpausch; 4 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Russell of Dimondale and Gerald (Cris) of Lansing. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Donald K. Dewey of South Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 5, 1996, at the Estes Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel with interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
