Briguglio, Frank P., 1737 Durand Street. passed away early Wednesday afternoon at St. Luke's Hospital after a long illness. Age 61 years. He was born Nov. 11, 1906, in Italy and had lived in Saginaw for the past 25 years. He married Elizabeth Mazzola July 19, 1930. She survives him. He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. He was employed by the Saginaw Steering Gear. Surviving besides his wife are three sons and seven daughters, Santo. Dominick and Peter Briguglio, Mrs. Benjamin (Flora) Dietzel. Mrs. Robert (Mary) Zielinski, Mrs. Rose Mary Perdue, Mrs. Joseph (Katherine) Doepker. Mrs. David (Elizabeth) Hughes. Mrs. Lee J. (Narda) Mills. Mrs. Richard (Jennie) Lagalo, all of Saginaw; 23 grandchildren; one brother and six sisters, Peter Briguglio. Mrs. Tina Yaccilla. Mrs. Santa Fasco, Mrs. Narda Biamcofioce, Mrs. Bernice Capuano, Mrs. Frances Danno and Mrs. Mary Paoletti, all of Chicago, Ill. Funeral service will take place 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the McIntyre Chapel, 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Rev. Fr. John O'Callaghan will officiate, with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel after 7 p.m. Thursday where they will meet with relatives 7 p.m. Friday, to say the Rosary.

Feoruary 15. 2001. at Hospice Hospital. Dayton, Ohio after a lengthy illness. Age 88 years Elizabeth Mazzola was born September 26. 1612 in Saginaw where she lived most of her life. She was married to Frank Brigugho on July 19. 1930 He passed away September 25. 1968 She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church Surviving are seven daughters and three sons, Mrs Ben (Floral Dietzel. Mrs Bob (Mary) Zielinski, Mrs Rosemarie Perdue. all of Saginaw, Mrs Joe (Kathenne) Doepker., of Kalamazoo. Mrs Pat (Narda) McFarland of Port Austin: Mrs Richard (Elizabeth) Kirchner of Dayton. Ohio. Mrs. Jenny Lagalo of Mount Pleasant. Mr Santo (Ruth) Brigugho of Saginaw; Mr Dominick (Sally), Briguglio of Saginaw: Mr Peter (Brenda) Briguglio of Massachusetts. 34 grandchildren. 47 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. many nieces and nephews A special thanks goes out to her loving, caring and patient daughter Elizabeth who took care of her for 2 years. Obituary:
Gail A. King, beloved wife, mother and daughter, 85, of Houghton Lake passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday May 19, 2022. Gail was born on December 21, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan to Earl and Lucille (Bricault) Starr. Gail married her loving husband Julian "Skip" King 67 years ago on January 15, 1955 in Detroit, MI.
In 1973, Skip and Gail moved to the Houghton Lake area to purchase the Way North Motel. In 1978 they opened their first Little Caesar Pizza store. They eventually operated fourteen Little Caesar Pizza stores in two states. After incorporating, Gail served as secretary, treasurer, and vice-president of K.N.M.F.S. Inc. Gail was also member of the American Business Women�s Association. She once served as Roscommon County Chairman of the Connie Binsfeld campaign for Michigan Lieutenant Governor. To promote Houghton Lake tourism, Gail successfully lobbied the Congress for an exception to the law banning billboards on the extension of I-75 stretching North of Saginaw. Notably, Gail and Skip were the impetus behind creating a 2nd weekend of Tip Up Town every winter. She was always very active; enjoying cross country skiing, tennis, and golf. Avid travelers, Gail and Skip�s journeys ranged from Denali to the Horn of South America. For several years, Gail participated in the National Portrait Society conventions as well as a variety of art workshops, which enhanced her natural talent and enthusiasm for oil painting.
Surviving Gail are her loving husband of 67 years, Julian W. King; children, Gary (Monica) King, Terri (Robert) Doepker, Cheryl Ghesquire, Cynthia King, Robert (Susan) King, and Geoffrey (Ann) King; and her brother, Richard Starr. Gail is further survived by 14 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and many other loving family members and friends. Gail was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Lucille Starr, and her sister, Shirley.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Gail A. King will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at St. Hubert Catholic Church at 11:00 am, with Fr. Bernard Tyler officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday May 31, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Christler Funeral Home - Prudenville Chapel. Interment will be in Lake Township Cemetery, Houghton Lake.
Memorial contributions in memory of Gail are asked to be directed to the Paralyzed Veterans of America.

He is survived by his dearest friend and companion, Marion Burns; sons. William (Claudia), Michael (Julie), Kevin (Becky) and Richard (Ann) and eight grandchildren.
