Obituary:
Jimmie Dale Lindeman, 68, of Ohio City, Ohio died peacefully surrounded by his family listening to music at 6:40 PM Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Lima Memorial Hospital, Lima, Ohio. He was born October 26, 1949 in Delphos, Ohio to the late Edwin and Lela (Putman) Lindeman. He married Susan (Agler) and she survives of Ohio City.
Jim retired after 32 � years as an elevator operator from Bungee North America (formerly Central Soya) in Delphos, Ohio. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Vietnam where he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant on November 2, 1968. Jim was a member of the Delphos V.F.W. Post 3035 and Ft. Jennings American Legion Post 715. He graduated from the University Of Northwestern Ohio with a degree in auto mechanics, was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan, loved camping, boating, listening to music- especially Willie�s Roadhouse station and Elvis Presley, but most importantly, Jim was a very selfless man who always put the needs of others before his own.
He is also survived by his children, Tammy (Charles) Cummings of Ft. Jennings, Ohio, Mandy (Dewayne) Mottinger of Van Wert, Jesse (Amie) Lindeman of Delphos, Audree (Jason) Markward of Ottoville, Ohio, Lae (Michelle) Brown II of Venedocia, Ohio, and Justic (Donna Rowe) Brown of Ohio City; grandchildren, Alexis (Austin) Hoyt, Angel Cummings, C.J. Cummings, Mallory Mottinger, Marissa Mottinger, Tyler Lindeman, Braden Lindeman, Savannah Lindeman, Archer Delgado, Ava Markward, Elliot Markward, Bobby Brown, Lae Brown, Curtis Brown, Elizabeth Brown, Emma Brown, Jacob Jackson, Ryan Jackson, J.D. Brown, Austin Brown and Gracelynn Brown; great grandchildren, Olivia, Jaxon and Jewelia; and brothers, Gerald (Kaye) Lindeman of Delphos and Larry Lindeman of Delphos.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 5 brothers, Carl, Donald, Edwin, Kenneth and Paul Lindeman; and 6 sisters, Imogene Joseph, JoAnn Roberts, Dorothy Williams, Marilyn Martin, Donna Williamson and Carol Maloney.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert, Ohio with Rev. Randy Bevington officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ohio City, Ohio.
Visitation will be from 3-8 PM on Monday, March 5, 2018 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert, Ohio and one hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.
Preferred memorials may be directed to Lima Memorial Heart & Vascular Institute or Van Wert County Relay for Life or the Wounded Warrior Project.

Obituary:
Michael Anthony Langhals, 66, died at 12:40 a.m. Oct. 12, 2010, at his residence.
He was born May 10, 1944, in Cloverdale to Anthony and Marie Wurth Langhals, who preceded him in death. On June 18, 1966, he married Diane Altenburger, who survives in Ottoville. They were married for 44 years.
Mr. Langhals had a true love of the land. He enjoyed farming with family and hunting with friends. He was a retail sales manager and retired from KOVA of Ohio. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville. He was a member of The Ohio State University Alumni Club, Pheasants Forever, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 471, Delphos, and the Knights of Columbus, Ottoville. He served on the founding board of the Putnam County YMCA and served on the Ottoville Mutual Telephone Co. and Paulding Putnam Rural Electric.
He treasured his faith, family and friends, first and foremost. He was a loving husband and father. His work ethic, character and integrity helped define him. He was one of the most loyal souls around. Once he was your friend, you had a friend for life. Friends, new and old, were precious to him.
He began his family�s tradition of graduates from The Ohio State University. His wife, children, son-in-law and daughters-in-law followed suit. The same grit that helped him become his family�s first college graduate also helped him �Livestrong� for nearly six years after his cancer diagnosis. OSU proved to be his partner again as his care was spearheaded by Dr. Ahmed Ghany and the oncology staff at OSU JamesCare East, Columbus. Dr. David Geller, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, was his caring surgeon and friend.
Survivors also include three children, Michelle (Jeff) Weadock, of Columbus, Tony (Tricia Turnwald) Langhals and Nicholas (Natalie Byrne) Langhals, both of Ottoville; seven grandchildren, Whitney and Sydney Weadock, Julia, Jack and Jace Langhals, and Jocelyn and Parker Langhals; five sisters, Rita (Roger) Rampe, of Kalida, Ruth (Mike) Novicki and Susan (Fred) Pepple, both of Lima, Mary Jane (Paul) Schneider, of Findlay, and Janice (Robert �Sonny�) Gasser, of Ottoville; three brothers, James (Paula Ransome) Langhals, of Delphos, Robert (Vivian Rieger) Langhals, of Ottoville, and David (Diane Burnett) Langhals, of Maumee; father- and mother-in-law, Wilbur and Sally Altenburger Sr., of Ottoville; four brothers-in-law, Wilbur (Janet Gasser) Altenburger Jr., of Cold Springs, Ky., Robert (Mary Lou Vorst) Altenburger, of Ottoville, Tom (Jan Kissell) Altenburger, of Columbus Grove, and Larry (Deb Wessell) Altenburger, of Ottoville; a sister-in-law, Janice (Roger) Frotman, of Durham, N.C.; and 29 nieces and nephews and 19 great-nieces and -nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville. Father John Stites will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Ottoville.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Love-Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Jackson Township, where a Scripture service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday.

Bio:
Tom Warriner
Tom graduated from Lansing Sexton High School in 1963. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in1969 and later a Master's Degree in Administration from Central Michigan University. He taught math for 39 years at Greenville Middle School and was awarded the School Bell Award in 2008.
He was best known as the girls track coach at GHS for 22 years from 1978 to 1999. Tom's girls track teams won six Conference and three Regional championships during his tenure. He coached a number of individual Regional Champions and two State Champions. In 1992, he was voted Regional Coach of the Year and was one of four coaches up for State Coach of the Year. His team placed third at the class A State Track meet that year. Since stepping down as the Girl's track and field coach in 1999, Tom has worked at the Middle and High School track and cross country meets as the head timer.
He also coached many other sports in Greenville including 8th grade and JV boys basketball for ten years; Freshman, JV and Varsity football for 15 years, Girls Varsity basketball for fi ve years (one year District Champions), and Middle School boys track for four years.
Tom was a stand-out athlete in high school, participating in track, football and basketball. He was a member of the 1961 State Champion football team at Sexton.
Family: Married to Jane for 49 years; he has a daughter and a son, Amy (Tim) and Max (Louise). He also has five grandchildren, Sean, Megan, Lindsay, Karly, and Max.
