Obituary:
Esther L. Selhorst, 85, of Leipsic, and formerly of Continental, died at 12:00 a.m., Friday, February 15, 2013 at The Meadows of Kalida.
She was born December 9, 1927 in Kieferville to the late Russel and Florence (Pease) Moore. On August 27, 1988, she married Carl Selhorst, who survives in Leipsic.
Also surviving is a son: Raymond (Adell) Workman of Continental; two daughters: Kathy Bishop of Cloverdale and Christine (Mark) McDougle of Continental; two brothers: Cecil Moore of Kenton and Loyal (Sally) Moore of Spokane, WA; two sisters: Edith (Eugene) Worline and Patricia (Ted) Froelick, both of Dupont; one sister-in-law, Bonnie Moore, of Continential; 9 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren and one on the way.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: Russel and Leroy Moore; a son-in-law: Rick Bishop; and a sister: Catherine Wisner.
Esther retired in 1992 from General Motors, Defiance where she worked for 37 years and 9 months, and formerly worked at Arnold Vending in McComb.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Leipsic and its Altar Rosary Society, the U.A.W. Local 211, and the Continental American Legion Auxiliary. She was a 1947 graduate of Continental High School and attended Fredricks Beauty School in Fort Wayne, IN. After graduation, she opened and operated the Sandalette for many years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic with Fr. George Wenzinger officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Continental, and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Love-Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Leipsic. An Altar Rosary Service will be held 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Leipsic Chapel.

Obituary:
Cindy DuBay-Durden, peacefully passed away at home on Sunday, February 16, 2003 surrounded by her loving family and best friend, Brenda Arrossa. Cindy is survived by her devoted husband, William F. Durden; stepdaughters, Jezmynne Amergin and Corinne Durden; three step-grandchildren; parents, Kenneth and Maxine DuBay; brothers, Timothy J. DuBay and wife, Regine, Michael A. DuBay and wife, Kristi; four nieces; two nephews; and her beloved cat, the Dowager Princess. Cindy would want to thank her associates and friends at PNM who were most supportive, helpful, and loving through the duration of her illness and her beloved friends at the State Bar of New Mexico Legal Assistance Division. Cindy was a 1974 graduate of Sandia High School, a 1978 graduate of New Mexico State University, and received her Associates Degree in paralegal studies from University of Albuquerque. Cindy was born in Saginaw, Michigan on March 15, 1956. She enjoyed traveling with Fred in the"Big Girl," a 1975 Oldsmobile convertible, attending classic car shows, visiting museums, reading books and magazines, and watching old movies. Cindy's circle of family and friends will gather together on Saturday, February 22, 2003 at 1:30 p.m. at the Aquinas Newman Center, 1815 Los Lomas Road, NE. Reception to follow at the family home. We love her and will miss her more than words can convey. Chesaning, Michigan Passed away on Tuesday August 14, 2012 at home. Age 48 years. He was born on October 21, 1963 in Owosso to John & Louise (Birchmeier) Bitterman. He was a farmer. He enjoyed hunting, the outdoors and tractor pulling. Surviving are his children,Skyla,Shayla,Jacob,Josh,Savannah and Sumer; mother of his children, Hiede; his mother, Louise Bitterman of Chesaning; his siblings, Laura Lavaley of St Charles, Richard Bitterman of Chesaning, Thomas (Julie) Bitterman of Chesaning, John Bitterman Jr. of Chesaning, Michele (Robert) Johnson of Corunna; many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, John Bitterman Sr. and a brother-in-law, Doug Lavaley. Funeral services will be held on Thursday August 16, 2012 at 1:00 pm at the Walker-Martin Funeral Home, Chesaning. Burial will follow in St Michael Cemetery. Bertella R. Birchmeier
ge 90, of New Lothrop, Maple Grove Twp., passed away Wednesday evening, March 1, 2000, at Westfall's Adult Foster Care Home, Montrose.
Mrs. Birchmeier was a homemaker.
Services will be held at St. Michael Catholic Church, Maple Grove. Saturday, March 4, 2000, at 10 a.m. The Rev. Fr. Randy Kelly will officiate with burial at St. Michael Cemetery. Friends may call at the Walker-Martin Funeral Home, Chesaning, all clay today; and at the church on Saturday after 9 a.m. There will be a Fireman's Memorial Service at 6:30 p.m.; Scripture service at 7 p.m.; Knights of Columbus Rosary at 8 p.m., at the funeral home this evening.
Mrs. Birchmeier was born in Maple Grove Twp., July 17, 1909, the daughter of Albert and Edith (Schlachter) Wendling. On June 31, 1930, she married Charles Birchmeier. He predeceased her on February 22, 1977.
She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic. Church of Maple Grove, The Daughters of Isabella, and League of Catholic Women.
Survivors include; six daughters and two sons, Leona Krienbrink, Louise Bitterman, Pat and Dan Krupp, Victor and Mary Birchmeier, Edith and Raymond Bishop, all of Chesaning, Alvin and Shirley Birchmeier, Karen and Dale Drexler, Shirley Klein, all of New Lothrop; daughter-in-law, Pattie Birchmeier of Plymouth, Indiana; 43 grandchildren; 73 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; five sisters; six brothers; one sister-in-law She was predeceased by; her husband; one son, Richard Birchmeler on April 16, 1990; two sons-in-law, Al Klein and Sylvester Krienbrink; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter.
