Martin J. Kruske
Age 56, of Oakley, passed away suddenly Sunday morning, June 11, 1995, at the Memorial Healthcare Center, Owosso.
He was born May 21, 1939, in Saginaw to Martin and Bernice (Studer) Kruske. He was a graduate of Our Lady High School.
On Jan. 27, 1962, he and Karen Drexler were married in St. Mary's, Albee.
Mr. Kruskc was employed at General Motors Truck and Bus, Flint. He was an avid sportsman and belonged to the Chesaning Conservation Club, Michigan Duck Hunters and Chesaning Muzzle Loaders.
He is survived by: his wife, Karen; his mother Bernice Kruske; his children, Eric Kruske of Seattle, Wash., Michael Kruske of St. Johns, Cheryl Kruske of Lansing, Cynthia Kruske of Kalamazoo; his sisters, Barbara Canard of Perry and Mary Montpas of Owosso.
Mr. Kruske was predeceased by his father, Martin.
Funeral Mass will take place Wednesday, June 14, 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Chesaning. Fr. Jeffrey J. Donner will officiate with burial in Resurrection Cemetery, Chesaning. Friends may call at the Misiuk Funeral Home, Chesaning today 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday morning 9:30 a.m. until funeral time.

Calvin L. Den Bleyker, 66, of Zeeland, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2016.
Cal was born September 4, 1949, in Holland, to Jerome and Dorothy (Schipper) Den Bleyker. He graduated from Holland Christian High School and worked for many years at Breuker and Den Bleyker Plumbing. He was currently working for Richard's Plumbing Supply. Cal is a member of Christ Memorial Church. He had been a volunteer Reserve for the Holland Police Department. Cal enjoyed raising dogs, camping, and truly enjoyed all his vacations and traveling.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Beth (Arnoldink) Den Bleyker, children: Doug Den Bleyker of Montana, Sarah and Ryan Klemundt of Montana, Jennifer and Jamie Van Brocklin of Florida; grandchildren: Noah, Jaiden, Chase, Easton, Aubrey; his mother Dorothy Den Bleyker, sister Karen and Bob Arnoldink, sister-in-law Barb and Don Dykema, nieces and nephews: Christy and James Allen, Lee and Laura Dykema, Kelly and Kris Arnoldink, Mandy and Adam Beroza.
A service to honor the faith and life of Cal Den Bleyker will be held at 3:00 pm, Thursday, February 4, 2016, in the Chapel at Christ Memorial Church (use entrance D or E) 595 Grafschaap Road, Holland 49423. Visitation will be 5-8 pm, Wednesday, at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 S. State Street, Zeeland and also Thursday from 2:15-2:45 prior to the service. Interment will be in Zeeland Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Helen DeVos Children's Hospital or Ronald McDonald House Charities.

HERRONEN, Donald E., age 74, of Linden, passed away January 24, 2006 at Hurley Medical Center, due to complications of cardiovascular and kidney disease. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, January 27, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Rev. David Ray will officiate. Military Honors will follow under the auspices of the Fenton V.F.W. Post #3243. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Wednesday, 1-3; 5-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home. A V.F.W. Memorial service will be held 7 PM Wednesday, under the auspices of the Linden V.F.W. Post #4642. Those desiring may make contributions to the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan, 1169 Oak Valley Dr., Ann Arbor, MI 48108. Don was born March 29, 1931 in Red Lodge, MT, the son of Elmer and Frances Herronen. He was raised in his early years by Emily and Jack Lindsey in Red Lodge; and in his later years by Elmer and Sonja Herronen in Linden. He was a graduate of Linden High School and lived his entire adult life in the area. Don was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving his country in the Korean War; he was honorably discharged in 1953. On October 17, 1953 he married his high school sweetheart, Nancy Selden at the South Mundy United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Linden VFW Post #4642. He worked for the Army Corp of Engineers and then at General Motors Proving Grounds Engineering Staff Vehicle Emmisions Lab in Milford. He retired from General Motors after 32 years of service. Don loved the outdoors. He enjoyed spending his free time hunting, fishing, golfing and bowling with his brothers and many friends. He is survived by his wife, Nancy; two sons, James M. (Mary) Herronen, Thomas E. Herronen; grandson, Donny Herronen; granddaughter, Dalila Herronen; brothers, Gary (Sandy) Herronen, John (Julie) Herronen; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter and a niece, Lonna Herronen. Many thanks to the skilled doctors, nurses and other health care professionals that extended Dons life and helped ease the pain when he died.
