Obituary:
Maxine L. Williams, 91, of Kalkaska, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center � L.T.C.
She was born on July 3, 1917 in Manton to the late Charles and Ivah Elnora (Kimball) Snyder. Maxine enjoyed playing cards and bingo. She enjoyed rabbit hunting, gardening and being out in the great outdoors. Maxine had a great sense of humor and loved spending time with her family and friends.
Maxine is survived by her devoted son Stan (Ruth Anne) Snyder of Kalkaska; her loving grandchildren, David (Deborah) Snyder of Kalkaska, Lorie (Steve) Stacy of Fife Lake, Fern Snyder of FL, Amy (John) Lantzer of Kalkaska, and Charles Snyder of Kalkaska; 11 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding Maxine in death were her first husband of 32 years, Stanley A. Snyder; her second husband of 37 years, Oris E. Williams; and her son, Harold M. Snyder.
Visitation will be on Friday, January 16th from 5:00 � 8:00 p.m. at Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with Linda Bridson of the Community of Christ officiating. Burial will be at Clark Cemetery in Springfield Township in the spring. Memorials may be given to K.A.I.R., 324 S. Cedar Street, Kalkaska, MI 49646. Arrangements were made by Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home, our family serving yours.

Obituary:
Wanda Ann Latta, 69, of Reed City passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2012 in Baldwin. She was born December 15, 1942 in Syracuse, New York to Mabel Hill and Ellison Printup. At age 15 she met her adopted mother Thelma Youngs and settled with her in Hale, Mich. She was employed with the Hollaway Company in Wixom, Mich. as a roller operator and helped build roads and highways throughout Michigan. She had lived in Mancelona and Kalkaska before moving to the Reed City area in 1988. She loved casinos (especially Little River Casino) and enjoyed family, friends, and Yahtzee games. She was known to have a keen sense of humor.
Wanda is survived by her sons, Ernest (Carri) Latta of Kalkaska and Chester Latta of Reed City; daughters, Diane Curtis of Rochester, N.Y., Thelma Lou (Eric) Gaines of Fayetteville, N.C., and Linda (John) Gaffney of Reed City; brother, Tim Printup of Lafayette, N.Y.; sister, Gloria Printup of Tandawanda, N.Y.; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister, Rita Printup, and her adopted mother, Thelma Youngs.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at the Pruitt-Livingston Funeral Home in Reed City with Rev. Doug Bennett officiating.

Albert J. Archer, 68, died at the home. 135 South Clemens avenue. Sunday evening. He was born in Canada March 20, 1673, and had lived in Lansing for the past 17 years. He was a member of the Masonic lodge and First Presbyterian church. He is survived by the widow, Hannah M.; two sons, Emerson and John. both of Lansing; five daughters, Mrs. Vera VonderHeide of Detroit, Mrs. Ida Pincomb of Flint, Mrs. Minerva Lawrence of Memphis, Mich., Mrs. Mary Steele of Lansing. Mrs. Mar-garet Whiten of Detroit; nine grand-children; two brothers, Thomas Archer of Mt. Pleasant and Lansing Archer of Miami, Fla.; two sis-ters, Mrs. Guy Tyler of Benton Har-bor and Mrs. Earl Riley of Wahpe-ton, N. D. Funeral services will be held from the Gorsline-Runciman funeral home Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Rev. Peter Monama of the First Presbyterian church will officiate. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant.

Mrs. Hannah M. Archer, 83, 404 S. Lawn, East Lansing, Mich., died Tuesday while vis-iting relatives in Tampa. A na-tive of Canada, she had been a resident of East Lansing for a number of years. She was a member of the First Presby-terian Church of East Lansing. Obituary:
Allen D. Ropp, age 94, of Alma, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2013 at Masonic Pathways in Alma.
Allen was born July 5, 1919 in Attica, Michigan the son of David and Hannah (Snyder) Ropp. He served his country as a Sgt in the United States Army during WWII from February 16, 1945 until his honorable discharge on December 16, 1946. On January 10, 1948 he married Wilma Zinn Loomis in St. Louis.
Allen worked for Total Refinery, retiring in 1977 after 29 years of service and was an affiliate of Local Union OCAW for 10 years. He spent over 16 years farming and owned the State Road Building for many years.
Allen was a member of the Lincoln Road United Methodist Church since 1950 and served as chairman to both the Church Administration Board and Finance Committee. He was also a Board Member for United Way, Big Brothers Big Sisters and served as a member of the 8-Cap Job Training Team.
Allen is survived by his children, Louis (Jeanette) Peterman of Alma, Helen Beeson of St. Louis, Kenna Jean Waldie of Zephyrhills, FL, Vicki (Keith) Perkins of Saginaw, Alana (Michael) Quinn of Naples, FL and David Ropp of Naples, FL, 16 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren. Also two sisters-in-law, Verda Ropp and Shirley Ropp of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Wilma on October 2, 2011, a daughter, Barbara Ropp and son-in-law, William Beeson, four brothers and two sisters.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 11 am at the Lincoln Road United Methodist Church with Pastor George Ayoub officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lincoln Road United Methodist Church.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Lux and Schnepp Funeral Home, Riverdale.

Theodore DeBoer, age 90, of Wyoming passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2011. Ted was a veteran and served in WWII. He enjoyed spending time with his family and had a lot of fun with the little ones. Ted was an avid golfer, bowler, fisherman and sports enthusiast. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie, daughter-in-law, Jane DeBoer, parents, Sam and Jenny DeBoer, sister, Anna Doorn. Nellie J. (Kooistra) DeBoer, aged 86, of Wyoming, went to her heavenly home on Monday, May 25, 2009 and is now with her Lord and Savior, and enjoying a reunion with her nine brothers and sisters and their spouses; daughter-in-law, Jane DeBoer; and sister-in-law, Annie Doorn, who preceded her. Nellie was a caring and giving person, who loved the Lord and shared her faith with her cherished family. She was an avid walker, loved to crochet and enjoyed playing golf with her husband, Ted. She was an employee of Keebler, retiring after 28 years of service.
